Clint, Can you do a follow up video on the mechanics of transferring assets under a trust? For example, how will my daughter get my house transferred into her name?

Exact situation I'm facing now. My dad has his will done and my sisters is POA. No trust. He's leaving his home to us kids. Not a rich man my father. But it would be nice to have this done right. Only issue being the cost to set it up.

Great video, Quick question if an individual has little to no assets other than a home would they be better off using a Lady Bird Deed to avoid probate?

One key point i think (i could be wrong) is that creating the WILL can be very cheap or free, vs creating the Living Trust is money upfront to create. ? And for some odd reason, people go for the cheap/no cost route. ?

Yes and they end up paying more in the end when their estate goes through probate.

No you need to set up an actual trust.

Don’t get the cheapest living trust you can afford, choose a good attorney or two, get some quotes and go from there. Legal services are not always good to go cheap on. Ask me how I know that 😂😂😂

What is you are divorced and have one kid and you DO NOT want your x or your child to get anything when you pass. You have no other living family at least in close relations? Currently has nothing no Will.. nothing. Could the state of Texas give my house and land to my child who I do not want to have it?

You need to open an account in the name of your trust or place your crypto in an LLC and have the LLC owned by your living trust.

@@ClintCoons thank you. So I have another question say if my cryptocurrency is under my LLC and I cash to my fiat will I still be getting taxed as a individual or my business and how much is the taxes for a business I been trying to find out but I can’t find anything on it
