When the ionization occurs its produces heat and when we perform adiabatic expansion cooling is generated, therefore the cooled supersaturated particles will moves towards the heated the region...Hope you get the answer

alpha and beta particles r both charged particle then why beta has discontinuous path while alpha has straight and continuous path. the cloud chamber has air and alcohol atoms and thes atom have their own nuclei.these nuclei has positive charge on it why they do not effect the path of alpha particles.kindly sir ya concept clear kar dai.

Because alpha particle only interact with the electrons of atoms not the nuclii

Bcz alpha particles being more massive continues their path while beta particles being less massive have discontinuous path

Sir ,according to our phy book of intermediate the air +alcohol is saturated not super saturated bcs saturated means that air holds as much alcohol as it can hold ....right? I think it is saturated and not super saturated pls reply and tell me if i am wrong pls i want to clear the concept

Its supersaturated..with no further mixing of alcohol

when the Air particles and Alcohol particles Mix up in the air they a Saturated But when we move the Piston than due to the cooling effect the air and alcohol particles gets supersaturated.
