I think Wilson Phillips was at the tail end of two decades of probably the best pop love songs and vocalists of all time. Yeah, there have been a handful of groups and songs since, but I feel hip hop and rap influence have choked most of this type of music out. Sad really, but I'm so grateful to have lived my happiest and youngest years during that era....

This came on the radio at my work this morning and it instantly made my day lol, used to have the whole album it was from on repeat as a teen (found it pilfering through my mom's CDs), I didn't realize how much of an impact it had made tbh. I was like mouthing all the words! Loved these guys!! 😂😅🤦

SOOOO glad I got to see Wilson Phillips in concert, though it was 20 years after they left the limelight...they were awesome nonetheless, and they even performed a few ABBA hits, too! LOVED it! Even got to high five Wendy and Carnie! Chynna wouldn't high five anyone! Boo hiss! Saw them in Des Moines, Iowa in 2012!

hold on에 비해서 턱없이 낮은 조회수를 보이지만 이 노래 역시 군더더기 없는 깔끔한 연주와 보컬 가사가 조화를 이루는 명곡이라 생각되네요. 필립스의 외모같이 화려하게 치장하지 않아도 빛이 나는 것 처럼 노래도 화려하게 치장하지 않았지만 스탠다드의 정석을 보여주는 곡이라 지금 들어도 질리지 않는 것 같네요.
