Welcome back everyone and thanks for tuning in yet again to my Monthly Movie Collection Update. In this month's video I'll be showcasing the editions I've picked up and welcomed into the Wilsonian Movie Museum during the month of May. Lots of standard DVDs, Blus and 4Ks thanks to some epic deals at JB Hifi.
This month I've filmed using a new head strap for my camera. It's a little shaky so apologies for all the movement. I'll try and think of some other method to fix this for my next monthly video. Thanks again for watching. Cheers.

Personally, I prefer a static camera the constant shaking makes me feel sick. That's meant as a constructive critic, the video content is awesome as always.

I sugest him to use the stabilize picture tool in a video editing software to avoid motion sickness.

Some beautiful additions to your collection. I'm awestruck at the number of things you pick up. Really enjoyed Inside No 9. I've still got my fingers crossed for a proper bluray release of League of Gentleman with all the extras.

Thank you. I love the League of Gentlemen. When we lived in the UK my lady and I were lucky enough to see one of their live shows in Manchester and I still have one of Pauline's Pens Steve chucked into the audience 😂. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Blu release too. Cheers.

Thanks man! It was a close call between the steelbook and the 4K Slip cover. I didn't fancy double dipping on this one so opted for the 4K although I did love that Alex Ross art too. It's a shame it was just the Blu Ray otherwise I would have got that instead. Cheers.

This is so amazing bro and i keep saying it :) I dont buy those premium steelbooks etc, but i totally understand why people do :) I rather buy more movies tho :P I picked up around 60 titles i think

Thanks man! Appreciate you keep watching and commenting. And yeah I agree mate - those premiums are very nicey but oh so pricey. I looked at my BOGOF haul this month and thought for the price of a One Click, I could have had at least another 20 new movies which is insane. You adding another 60 titles this month is awesome. 2 a night for a whole month. You've got some watching ahead of you. Thanks again mate. Cheers.

Good video, I presume your going with a camera glasses or a Gopro/action camera now, it's great but you can stabilize the picture with a tool in a video editing software to avoid motion sickness. Hope to see a new video in the near futur.

Thanks Will. Yeah it's always been a GoPro but this time I had it on a headstrap… I didn't realise I move my head so much when talking. Thanks for the tip on the editing software but I think I'm just going to go back to the old tripod for my next one. A lot easier and less nauseating for the watcher. Cheers.

I agree mate. I wasn't happy when I watched it back. I thought the headstrap would be a good idea but I'm not happy with it either. I'll go back to the static tripod for my next one. Cheers.

Great pick ups, love the Dark knight trilogy mother box! Cool Terminator 2 editions from Film Arena, I have the Glass edition that you have not seen the movie yet, look to next month's, pick ups. Would be good if you just show each edition even if they are standard editions may be over two videos if you want to keep the length of each video down, great content!

Thanks man, that 4K Glass edition is really nice. Much better than the release we got here in Aus. My other vids I was able to run through each item but going crazy on May's Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale at JB Hifi meant I just had too much to show individually. I wish I had the time to do more videos but inbetween working and watching, the time just disappears. I thought the camera head strap would be a good idea but yeah, it was way too shakey. Next time I'll go back to the tripod I think. Thanks for watching mate. Cheers.

J Mcfly don't go too crazy at the beginning and focus more on limited editions rather than regular releases. You'll be able to pick up regular releases later on at lower prices, while for limited editions once they're gone, they're gone

Wow now that’s a great pick up this month. I love the t2 and batman editions a thing off Beauty thanks for showing all your pick ups will look forward to next vid . What stand do you use to film with so camera goes where you go ? Love it

Thanks mate - yeah that T2 and Dark Knight box is a beauty. This month was a GoPro strapped to the head but I didn't like the outcome. I knew it was too shakey before putting it live and a few of the comments have confirmed it. I'm gonna go back to the tripod for the next vid I think. Thanks for tuning in again bud. Cheers.

Thanks Pedro. The Dark Knight trilogy was made by HDZeta - shop.hdzeta.com - although I don't think the editions were sold directly through them. They had to be purchased as part of a Group Buy through places like Hi Def Ninja, Media Psychos or Blu Ray Dot Com. I've seen them pop up on Ebay recently but the prices have shot up now the set is complete.

Do the 88 films movies you picked up have reversible artwork? I still need to pick up the Eureka release of Cujo.

Yes they do. All 10 of those in the Vault collection have reversible artwork. I was really impressed with that Cujo release. Very nicely done. Cheers.

Thanks man! It was a GoPro on a headstrap but I'm switching back to the tripod next time. I knew when I watched it back, the head movements were too shaky and that's the feedback I'm getting which I completely agree with.

I attempted to place all my steel books on my wall with magnets and about half of them fell off. I ended up breaking two of them. I’m looking forward to learn a smarter method than my own.

Sorry to hear that dude. I went through 3 different types of magnets before I found one's strong enough to hold up the steels without them sliding off and falling. I haven't had a single one fall off yet (touch wood) and I started using the magnets around 2 years ago so all going well. I'll do the video in the next week or so. Cheers.

Thanks Adrian. It's a GoPro on a head strap but honestly I'm not too happy with how it's turned out when I watched it back. Too much movement with my head. I think i'm gonna go back to the tripod for my next one. Cheers.

Thanks man, yeah I saw Godzilla 2 at the cinema. I thought it was more entertaining than the 2014 one but I still enjoyed Kong Skull Island a little more, just for the music and banter between the characters. The action was great but it was all so serious and bleak for my liking. Cheers.

Great content as usual but how come you changed the way you filmed this video? The constant shaking and quick jerky movements were really distracting and made me feel a bit sick. I thought the way you filmed previously was fine and gave us a nice clear, closeup view of each collection.

I have many questions.. but the first one that comes to my mind is, ¿What do you do with all the movies you buy and not like after you watched it? Do you keep it or return it?

I keep every one. I've never sold or returned a single copy since my first VHS. Even the really bad movies I'll never watch again I'm still happy to keep in my collection. Some collectors only have movies they love and I respect that. I guess I'm trying to build my own collection that's more like the old Video Rental stores I loved as a kid, filled with the good, the bad and the absolutely terrible. Cheers.

I wish you took your time to show of all the movies. If you dont feel like talking a lot about them, just move quickly through them. It would probably only take a minute. 😅
