Btw, Wilt didn't have a 48" vertical, probably more towards 38-40" vertical
@Nootasaur4 жыл бұрын
@Ryan Chetty The highest we ever saw Wilt was his hand at the top of the backboard, that's still insane but if you do the Math, the top of the backboard is about 12 ft, Wilt is 7'1, and lets asy he does have a 48" vertical, 48" is 4ft high but that's just a standing vert, Wilts running very would be about 52" at least making him able to nearly jump over Mugsy Bogues with his legs straight down.
@Nootasaur4 жыл бұрын
@Ryan Chetty Also, Wilt being 7'1 with 48" vert means his head would reach 11'1" high, it's also said Wilt has a 114" standing reach which is 9ft, so add that to the 11'1" his head reached too, that's 20ft 1 inch, you really think Wilt can dunk on a 20ft rim?
@Nootasaur4 жыл бұрын
@Ryan Chetty 20ft top of the backboard, 17-18 ft rim, he would be tipping it in, Wilt does not have a 48" vert, probably more like 35-40

@Ryan Chetty Dude, that's like saying, "we have never seen Lebron touch the top of the backboard so he can probably do that"

I disagree with Wilt's most underrated quality being his passing. I think it is his defense. While the NBA didn't record blocks for almost his whole career, the sixers did and when he was with them he average 8.8 BLOCKS A SEASON! This puts him as probably the great defender of all time as he also had very quick hands and could probably get quite a few steals. It also means he had multiple quadruple doubles and may have even had a quintuple double.
