I don't know your age, or if you got to see him play much real time, but you are, pretty much, spot on, with my opinion. I did see him play, real time. I consider him the Greatest of all time, regardless of the number of won, or lost, championships. I tried to emulate him, on the court, above any one else, but I was only 6'3".

The crazy thing about this is that Wilt & Usain Bolt have the same Leo☀♌🔥 Birthday. August 21st. Bolt being a modern marvel. Both made it look TOO EASY, and often did their sports in hold back mode and STILL set the galaxy ablaze wirh their demigod and supernatural talents. Ain't no stopping The GREAT Wilton Norman Chamberlain💯

Most dominant Center to ever play the game

Nice video. A couple of comments. Wilt didn't "discover" team play later in his career. He always did what he was asked to do. His coach wanted him to average 50 points a game and had to sell the idea to Wilt and to his teammates. Also, the flaw in Bill Simmons' idea is his belief that a team is nothing more than the sum of its parts - that a team can only be as good as its players. Nonsense! The Celtics were a well-oiled, well-balanced machine made up of gifted players who complemented each other and played together for many years. In their heyday, they would have beaten any all-star team. By the way, I saw most of Wilt's career and I don't forget just how great he was. Even wrote a book about it - "Wilt the Winner" on Amazon.

You're saying Wilt ran 100 meters in 9.5 seconds?

He didn't beat Jim Brown in A race. Jim Brown could never beat him the many times they raced.

@@sundigest1121 He ran 100 yards in 9.5 seconds. In 100 meters, that would probably be around 9.85-9.9 seconds. But STILL though!!! Look at the size of him😯

@@rodneywashington2017 proof?
@rodneywashington20174 жыл бұрын
@@sundigest1121 I don't have the proof that Wilt ran 9.5 in 100 yards. That wasn't the preface of my response. I ran track and I also trained in boxing so my response was if Wilt was said to run 9.5 in 100 yards, then by meters being longer, than that would equate to approximately 9.85 to 9.9 in 100 meters. Just to be clear though, 100 yards back in those days were more prevalent in sprinting than 100m. I've heard baby boomers including my late father and uncle talk about people they knew growing up that ran low 10s to mid 10s, even high 9.9s in100yds including people like Bob Hayes in the 60s with the Cowboys.

Introversion is a trait most of them had that creates the focus and intensity and proficiency that speaks in channeled action to get the attention mere speaking can not . Ie action speaks louder than words . Later upon adulation they learn to speak or rather explain their actions . Many are spurred by neglect abuse or shame and are thereby cornered into an emotional ball that needs an expressive outlet that's positive and entertains us all. This is a transfer of energy . So many die young 💔. It takes its toll their burning their torch . Wilt had the Goliath burden mostly he carried it well but was forced to explain losing though he was winning except the one thing . It's true wilt never had the all star teammates Russ had save 3 years in 15. Great Expectations are not always fulfilled . There's a novel of that title somewhere. Let us now praise famous men but know the clay they're made of .
