Still having brake issues. I decided to buy a new Wilwood proportioning valve to see if this is the issue. #wilwood #bigblockchevy #holleyefi

Heck yeah man! I’ve been really happy with my Wilwood stuff. Brakes are a lot like air and sex, doesn’t seem important until you don’t have any. You should have a stout system now! Nice work sir!

Do you have the little screw in to that goes in place of your ground connector that holds your valve in the center. If you don’t have that you’re gonna close off one side of your proportioning valve..

I'm still trying to get one on the road so appreciate insight into another option because this creator (Darren 67-72) said you can just connect two fittings. The wiring has me pretty stumped over here in rainy WA. I'm installing American Autowire to attach with a Swaptime reworked L83 harness and Dakota hdx gauges and battery relocation. Alot of the wiring under the dash I don't understand so any suggestions? Also, you might like the Oclip Olight mini flashlight because its bright, magnetic and can just hang on your hat or collar etc.

You’re mixing up your line sizes. The larger line is 1/4”, the smaller is 3/16. From the factory 1/4” ran to the rear for the factory drum brakes. There are 3/16 to 1/4 adapters in inverted flare. So it goes from 3/8 24 to 7/16 24. Ace is not the place to get brake fittings. They need to be inverted flare to seal properly

I ended up NOT using anything from ACE

Did you end up getting your brakes worked out?

@@jessethompson1545 I think so...its been so cold here and snowing everyday that I havent been in the garage. I bought a power brake bleeder to get all the air out of the system and it seemed to work. Once it warms next week im going to take it around the block to test it.

@@DadbrosGarage looks like you swapped to the Cadillac style D154’calipers. If so, the parking brake arm has to be properly adjusted in order for the rear calipers to operate properly. If not adjusted, it will give you a low engaging pedal and it will feel like there’s air in the lines
