I have struggled with acne ever since I was 12, I literally tried everything possible and nothing would work. At some point it got that bad I wouldn’t even go ti school. It all changed after I got subscribed to accutane, after only 5 months my skin was supposed clear!

Mya, I’m almost 20 and have been following you since we were in high school. I’ve always dealt with acne, but it flared up extremely bad about a year ago. I was so so so insecure and 100% understand comparing yourself to other girls our age and feeling down. Now, i am about to start my 6th and final month of accutane and my skin is the clearest it’s been in years. It’s been complete hell but nothing compared to the extreme physical and emotional pain of acne. I guess my point here is to hopefully help you feel less alone. It might get worse before it’s better, but it gets better. From the bottom of my heart, you are beautiful. And your beauty comes from so much more than your skin. I always struggled with acne since middle school but when I decided to cut out gluten dairy and soy it really made me glow from the inside out and improved my skin to where I get a pimple here and there now. I know everyone always has their piece of advice and you may or may not have tried it but that’s just my two cents on skin😘 love your videos and I personally never noticed your skin I always think you’re so pretty!!

i’ve dealt with acne for four years. at this point i’m just used to getting pimples and when my skin pretty much clears i’m like this is not normal lol. but you are one of the most beautiful people i’ve seen and i honestly wish i could look more like you lol. i am confident in myself but you’re so so super pretty and tbh i don’t even notice the acne on you! there are so many other things about you inside and out that are super cool :)

I understand exactly how you feel. Thank you for your honesty. I have struggled with acne since I was 13. All of my friends skin is flawless and I have breakouts and bumps all the time. When one goes away, more comes. And my parents have tried so many facewash companies and we’ve gone to the dermatologist and it seems like nothing works and it just sucks. It’ll work for a little bit and then boom it all comes back. I can’t change it either but it still just sucks

Same, I’ve had acne ever since I could remember. I’m 21, my brother and sisters have it too still and they’re older than me. At this point, I just don’t really care anymore. I did stop wearing my mask to most places, so I’m trying to ease back into not covering my face up bc it did make me comfortable but if ppl don’t accept me bc I have acne then it’s on them🤷🏽‍♀️ PERIOD TALK - as I’ve gotten older, my cramps get more painful/my first day is my heavy day. I know you don’t really use tampons, but I suggest the super tampon from honey pot on the first/second day and then the regular ones on the rest!

omg mya, I know you use some products from young living and my family also uses like everything from there, religiously lol. anyways I use the skin care from them, its the bloom line and it is honestly the best stuff I've ever used in my life!! It is sooo clean for your skin and healthy for you. Ive been using the bloom cleanser and the brightening lotion since I think march 2020 and it has seriously changed my life. When I tell you, I never have acne, I literally never have acne. I highly recommend you to try it out, although it may be expensive, it is WORTH IT!!!!! love you girly💕

i had really bad acne at one point and the only thing that saved me was acutane. it got rid of everything and kept it away! i highly suggest it

have a skin condition. it took forever for my to come to terms w/ how my skin looks, but now my skin is soooo much healthier. sometimes for me i need to just take a step back and do minimal skincare.

girllllll you look so cute! I am also struggling with acne and I've noticed that the climate has a lot to do with it. My skin thrives in the winter but it is so yucky and bad in the summer. I would recommend asking your dermatologist about this, because I am no expert, just from my experience! Love ya, just know that were humans and we all go through stuff, the real ones will only matter whats on the inside, not the out!

Did you go to World Market up at Riverpark in Fresno?? That was my old stomping ground when I used to live there. Can’t tell you how many times I went to dinner or the movies there. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see you in my own Cali hood. Especially since I miss the times I spent there so much.

I just wanna tell u sm, i had the same issue with my skin for probably two years and i recently went the dermatologist and he gave me Pills called "Tetralysal", he said they have no side effects and i 've been taking one in the morning and one at night time (i swear my skin issss so clear now ) lastly you can try em if have oily skin and apply sunscreen

Mya you’re gorgeous but I can totally relate to the skin part!!!! The thing that helped my skin was I cut out all animal products from my diet- so basically I went vegan and it was the best thing I ever did, after a month my skin was super clear and it helped my eczema too , and now I rarely get breakouts . I honestly believe the meat and cheese were bad vibes and it was showing up on my skin. That’s just my experience but I thought I would share because it was truly transformational when it came to my health including my skin and mental health too!! I sleep better, I feel like my mood is more regulated and again my skin improved a lot!!

I watch your videos with my niece and girl, I'm 44 and got hormonal acne last year and it was the worse! Go to a dermatologist. I got spironolactone and trentonin. Yes beware your skin will purge and it takes time but I promise you it will get better!

Hey Mya! I have super sensitive skin! I’ll share some things that helped my face and hopefully it can help you!! When I was taking certain vitamins like biotin I saw that it would give me acne bumps. Protein also really breaks me out. I changed my pillow cases to silk and saw it helped my skin. This cream that I use it called benzoyl peroxide and it saved my skin! Also maybe try switching to products only for sensitive skin! Hope this helped !!

My dermatologist told me the best thing is to just use soap and a warm washcloth and not products. If your skin gets dry use cerave daily moisturizer and apply it only when your skin feels dry. My skin cleared up so fast cause I wasn’t putting products on my skin that actually weren’t working.

I’ve struggled with acne, and it went away as I got older and simplified my routine. I recommend not making ur routine so complex, dove bar works wonders. Go to a dermatologist as well if you can!!

Look into hormone balancing and food sensitivity. I’m in the same boat but ever since I’ve done my research my skin has healed a lot more. Find the root cause, don’t take an antibiotic or pill that will hide the problem away for a couple months. Heal from the inside ! ❤

Hey mya i also had the same acne problem since 2020 and ever since then i tried every possible way to get rid of acne i visit dermatologist i had lots of medicine and even used alot of skincare but nothing worked for me and i used to get very angry and cry alot because of my acne so one day my mom told me to use freshly cut aleovera get and did that and my acne starts reducing in a week so i you want to try aleovera gel plz use fresh aleovera from your garden and remove the latice of aleovera and extract the gel and use it as a moisturizer and i also cut off all my skin care only aleovera gel and sunscreen and it worked like a magic for me just a suggetion i you want to try and i also learnt that acne is as normal as we breathe so relax i love you and your vlogs ❣

i had the worst acne EVER and i stopped wearing so much makeup and at first it was hard but IT HELPS just get in the sun and try and not wear as much makeup and wash your face with doctor Recommended products
