Lots of useful information. Somethings I've never thought about. Even though I am not a 'dedicated' bench rester, this will still be applicable to the matches I do shoot. Thanks I will follow your channel.

You're welcome. I am a big believer that everything has to work together to achieve tight groups. Wind flags are a big piece of that puzzle. If there are any other topics you would like covered send me an email. Have a great summer. Stanley ctdshooting@gmail.com

I attach a laser to my barrel and shine it on the bottom left of the target backer - after aiming the rifle at the top left of the target. As I walk downrange, I know I’m in the line of fire if my body is blocking the beam. I place the flags slightly below and to the left of the beam so I can see them with my left eye (right-hand shooter). I can find the exact location of the beam on my hand.

Sounds like a pretty solid process.

Thank you for the positive comment and question. Bill Dittman made the poles. They are super nice. Craig Nagel also makes some really nice flag poles. I am hesitant to give their contact information here, but if you want more details please email me at ctdshooting@gmail.com. Thanks!!

Who makes the flags in this video?

TK Nolan (OK) made these flags. I am pretty certain TK does not make flags anymore. If you are interested in double vane flags get a hold of Dave Halblom in DesMoines IA. He used to operate a business called Flying Fish Fundamentals, but I think he retired from that. If Dave can not make you a set, he probably knows who can. Hope this helps

Bison doesn't use near enough data points to be accurate . Just bc and speed .

I use Bison to give me a rough idea. Practice fine tunes that information. Do you have a source you would like to share? Thanks for the comment.

You need to bring the volume up to match other YT video nowadays. They stopped audio compressing all the videos. You're being played at the same volume I have been watching all day, and I can't hear a thing.
