fun fact about the colour that Djeeta in the first match was using: it's based on a collaboration outfit you could get for the MC a few years back... and the thing that GBF was collabing with for that outfit? McDonalds.

Narmayas stance change isn’t really complicated, especially in corner combos. Just takes a little adjustment time and you’ll start cooking.

I said it before, and Ill say it again. I'm super glad this game made its comeback with Rising and got so much of the good stuff that makes the game super enjoyable. It deserves its praise and can't wait what the future has in store for GBVSR.

Max seems to have the misconception that players hang back and try to get in from behind ranged options at a "high level" instead of the fact that Siegfried has some of the biggest buttons/specials in the game which forces you to play around his options in such a manner.

Max's habit of running and jumping in like he's playing rushdown instead of a dude with a huge beatstick and a projectile is not helping him any, no. You can just watch that Narmaya push his shit in every time he runs at her and realize it.

Yea he has a bad habit of trying to unga bunga with every character he enjoys, regardless of playstyle Hopefully that Narmaya humbled him a bit because that character has to put in like 2x the amount of skill than Siegfried does to be efficient. You can’t play a Top 5(arguably top 3) character and complain about Narmaya lmao

@@MailmanSSBhe doesn’t really have much to practice tbh. Light confirms into the spiral arrow. Or use ultimate spiral arrow to corner your opponent into 2M then DP.

The game's training mode has a frame data feature so use it every time you don't know if you're + or -.

@@javianbrown8627 Yes, it is, you may have not been blocking or tried to jump or something, if you're properly punished it says "punish". Or maybe it's one of those moves where depending on how far or close you do it the frame data changes, a lot of moves are only safe when done from further away.

16:11 one thing you could do there was to do his ultimate "fireball" because she had no life to block it and can't spot dodge because it travels too slow. Her only answer would be to jump it (which would have to be too precise because his thing hits high). With 100% super bar, you would use ultimate skills twice.

7:29 that is the only problem I have with this game, is figuring out when it's my turn. Even when I was looking at the frame data in training and seeing what's plus and what's not, the frame data didn't feel true. Like, some characters have big openings or recovery, and when I tried to punish them, seeing as I had time to, I would get punished myself. Just knowing when to punish is kinda weird. Like, you can't feel your way into getting your turn back or punishing. You actually have to really know when it's the right time to or not.

Almost every character in this game has a DP, a fireball, and a gap closer. I noticed more than half the characters in the game are a different variation of a shoto.

I finally took the time to try out the free version of GranBlue and I was shocked that I was immediately enjoying myself. I don't like the aesthetic of the game very much, but inputs work and everything I expect to happen happens. It's not like that with SF6 and I'm forcing myself to "Enjoy" it. It's the only fighting game I've ever played that feels like my inputs aren't coming out and it's killed my experience.

Try out Katalina if you like characters with good normals you can easily whiff punish with, and push your opponent into the corner quickly.

You should play Narmaya if you haven't already, Max. She basicly becomes GG Johnny & Last Blade Hibiki when you switch her stances during certain specials to get various setups & combos

Only thing i cant stand is Max almost always plays The main "story" fighter...not every game but idk doesnt branch out enough with characters. Its my nit pick whatever doesnt matter anyway. I love lamp.
