I love seeing how games that are built to be single player work with a modded coop it may be broken but it just adds to the experience and you discover weird things you’d never see playing alone

I always thought Tetra was just tanned because of being a pirate out in the open sun all the time. Given how the scrawnier members of her crew, who probably stay below deck, are also paler than the crew who are frequently on the deck.

I sorta imagined it like a manifestation and that the person Link sees when Tetra transforms is Zelda’s Spirit (kinda like how the Hero’s Spirit reincarnates but with Zelda) instead of Tetra herself. I haven’t played WW myself though so I’m not familiar with the story in regards to Zelda or the Royal Family in that game.

are you guys using netplay to do it or parsec? (if so how did you get netplay to work as me and my friend are having a issues)

We typically used Parsec but that’s only because save states are almost essential with how prone to crashes it can be. With netplay you kinda just gotta make sure you’re games are 100% identical. If one thing is checked differently during setup or placed funky (if you’re doing the .dol method) it can throw the whole thing off. One option is if you have a patched iso/decomped dol you can send it to the other person through Google Drive or something to ensure they’re exactly the same. I thiiiink the .dol method is also more stable but don’t quote me on that, we just had more success with it is all. But it’s also a lot more complicated to setup.

Remember kids: Save your game often so you dont lose your wallet to some fountain fairy bitch. FYI y'all will need at least 3184 rupees for the things to get the thing to progress the story later.

Tetra being turned into zelda and being useless was intentional and is in line with the themes of the game (holding onto past glory/failure and not moving forward), Toon Link was put into the role of Hero despite in-lore being just some random ass kid and the same applies to tetra. KORL and Ganon both put Tetra into the role of Zelda despite the fact that she had her own identity. WW doesn't "technically" have a Zelda, just someone given to it as a title and the second she's stopped being treated as a Zelda stand-in she does something and helps you fight Ganondorf at the end. which is more than you can say about OoT's Zelda who doesn't do shit outside of her Sheik persona other than throw you a sword and give you light arrows, Tetra actually uses the arrows herself. if Tetra going from tanned skin to pale is suddenly problematic, then Zelda going from pale skin to dark skin as Sheik should be too lmao.
