one thing thats unique about this minivans compared to some others i saw is there is no button to open/close sliding doors in the 2nd row. its just a big ol manual door opener or whatever its called looking thing.

The benefits of a hybrid, especially in a minivan where fuel economy is really important in that segment, compared to all its V6 competitors, this gets like 12MPG more than all of them

Do the second row seats recline in the AWD? I see that they move back but do they recline also?

Yes. The thing either the AWD tho is only the base model offers middle bench seat. Rest of the trims is captain seats. But they slide and recline massively.

not really, its got hybrid electric power so its fine for daily driving. And the 30 mpg is great for a minivan

Problem with hybrids is they dont last as long as a regular car, there was a man that had a highlander hybrid and it started having problems at 170k miles, he also had a regular highlander before he got the hybrid and that car had more than 300k miles

I guess I don't understand the need to drive like this and the manual shift mode of the shifter seems unnecessary to me too. Makes for loud and abrupt driving experience. It's a minivan.

Was seriously looking at Sienna but for Non-Stow And Go even Non-removable, 2nd row seats 💺 is Big mistake, as well as the absence of a panoramic roof. That's why I choose less expensive $7,500 FEDERAL TAX CREDIT, Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid.

カナダにいますが、今回3.5lのv6が無くなってしまいガッカリした意見が多いですよここでは。ホンダのOdesseyがまだv6があるので残して欲しかったですね。ホンダはここでは4駆とハイブリッドの設定が無いのが残念です。ミニバンで４駆でv6の両方を満たす選択が無くなってしまいました。

Yeah lol 245hp is underpowered? My 1998 ford Windstar with a V6 had 200hp and towed campers and 7 people at once back when I had it. If your assertion is correct, then a Mitsubishi Mirage with 78hp wouldnt be able to even move. My first car was a 1991 Dodge Shadown with 93hp, it was just fine fully loaded and merging. How did the Ford model Ts even move at all? Didnt they have 10-25hp at first? Be fair. Its power is fine for a minivan. It's a toyota so itll last forever and its fuel efficient. My wife currently drives an LX570 and I Drive an Escalade ESV, were switching to a Sienna like this and an Highlander so we can get our kids around without breaking the bank on Gas. In my area of Canada Gas is $1.40CAD/Per Litre (Southern Alberta). We also have an GS350, IS350, RC350, LS460 and a few other trucks and cars. Were replacing the GS with an ES250 also with a 2.5L I4 with 200hp. Who cares about street racing a minivan? Or anything with a Toyota Inline-4, especially in a hybrid or a Camry or Corolla. Get. REAL. It has more the enough power.

I also see you commented on a Odyssey also on this Channel, and loved it cause it is a VTech. and I should mention it ONLY has 35hp more then a Sienna, PLUS it has a V6 and has worse gas mileage. I think the choice is clear my friend. Nobody street races minivans unless your a meth head or from the middle east. And even then tthey don't do it cause its fast, they do it cause it's fun to hear engine noise and scare people 🤣

Lots of road noise lots of engine noise lots of tire slip... hmmmm. It would get old driving this thing really quick. Always would seem the engine is about to blow up! And all the noise! Yuk! And the loud interior hard plastics. Clanky hood latch.

Newer Toyota *ENGINES* are some of the *WORST!!* It is shocking how unrefined and GRITTY this *_4 cylinder_* engine is! It is so LOUD, NOISY and keeps *droning and droning and droning.* THAT itself would be a deal killer for me, in an otherwise very good vehicle! I am not sure what is wrong with Toyota these days!
