One other way to fix it is to plug in an XBOX controller. Then use the physical button on the controller to launch the game bar.

Once I started recording once I finished I check the recording and only the Xbox sign was coming and when check the video the whole video was me talking. I couldn’t see the screen I wanted to record

I logged out, and then logged back in. Didn;t work so a re - installed it so it will be up to date, but it wont work.
