Microsoft 365 says I cannot add a second account. I get the following message "You're already syncing a personal OneDrive on this computer. Unlink that account to add a new one."

Because my secondary account is already linked, it won't let me proceed, it says to unlink account as a suggestion

thanks for your video Kelvin, but in Win 11 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1928) not working, the system ask to unlink the existing OneDrive to continue additional new account. please advise with my problem, because I need to add multiple OneDrive account in my computer.

to me it says you allready have a linked account on this computer unlink it if you want to add a new account... im afraid to do that becaus ei dont know what wil happen... i use onedrive allot.. i got 1 tb full and that account is linked to phone and pc i use stuff thats in onedrive on pc... so if i unlink that account what wil happen if i then add a new account? and what wil happen with the synchronisation??? i dont want to mess annything up and how does it work wit swapping between accounts on the fly and synchronisiation???

Are the onedrive you want to link office365 onedrive accout or hotmail onedrive account?

This does not work. OneDrive says I have to sign out of my personal account and cannot have more than one account signed in at the same time. I have read this is only available for OneDrive Business accounts.

this only works with business accounts, doesn't it?

No, it works with all account. On my device I have 3 OneDrive account configured. Two is for business account and 1 is for my normal Microsoft hot-mail account. It should work without it being a business account.

This solution doesn't work. At least in Jun 2024. MS has changed their programming. Now only one personal account accepted. MS needs to continue to boost revenue and earnings at a good rate of growth to make investors happy... :) If volume of new users doesn't grow at the expected speed, let's milk the current users... Business as always was..
