Windows 11: We Couldn't Find A Camera Compatible With Windows Hello Face On Windows 11, Fix Windows Hello Facial Recognition Not Working Windows 11
Step 1) Uninstall Latest Installed Update
Step 2) Make changes in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System
AllowDomainPINLogon
Set the value data to 1
Step 3) Install HelloFace
C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\FaceDriver
Install HelloFace.inf (Skip the step if you don’t find this inf file)
Step 4) Allow the use of Biometrics,
Turn On Convenience PIN Sign-in (Steps Applicable to Windows 11 Pro or higher edition)
gpedit.msc
Step 5) Start Windows Biometric service
Delete the content from WinBioDatabase folder
Disable Windows Biometric Service
Delete the content from WinBioDatabase folder (first take backup)
C:\Windows\System32\WinBioDatabase
Restart your PC
Now enable Windows Biometric Service
Step 6) Remove the Face Recognition and PIN sign-in settings and set up again
Remove Windows Hello face
Remove Windows Hello PIN
Setup Windows Hello PIN
Setup Windows Hello Face
Step 7) Uninstall your camera driver and restart your PC
Step 8) Install Camera Driver from System manufacture website
Step 9) Roll back Camera Driver
Step 10) Uninstall Biometric driver and restart your PC
Step 11) Update system BIOS
Step 12) Perform System restore
Step 13) Reset Your PC (Create a backup first as reset may result in data loss)

Thanks 🙌, I tried a few of your methods and it didn't work. Then I said if I go though all the rest fixes and even if I fix it, it might get into some error later on and it might stop me from accessing my windows all toghether.

I got to the party where it said I had to have the Windows 11 Pro, so I guess since I have home I cannot do this.

Didn’t solved the problem. Followed all steps and setup is still grayed out. It never worked on my windows 11 device, but i did made it work on windows 10 with my Logitech Brio 4k webcam. I just got it so I don’t know if there was a windows update who broke the compatibility with this cam. Step 12 won’t work and step 13 will probably also don’t work and all steps 1-11 didn’t work also

What actually dit work, because I’ve made it work. Is that i did a windows 11 iso install but i removed the direct storage and TPM 2.0 requirement. There is a github CMD line you have to preform to do this. After that you can upgrade windows 11 again but without losing apps and data and it will install all updates again. You won’t lose any data, your system is just as it was before with all updates reinstalled and without TPM and direct storage support. Then i could enable Windows hello facial unlock and after that i turned on TPM and Direct storage back on again. Problem solved. So it didn’t had anything to do what you just explained. It was probably the DS or TPM that was causing the issue

Thanks for your efforts! Unfortunately my hello face feature still ain't working😪 What I've noticed is: - I don't have a file named (FaceDriver), so is there any way to install/find it? - I couldn't remove the hello face feature or even windows hello PIN (remove option is shaded and unaccessible. Is there any way to help? Many thanks ahead.

Man, this guy is complete lol!!!!! He installed Camera Drivers from Lenovo Website, Has HP True vision webcam, and downloaded BIOS from Dell Website....Complete LOL😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I think you are the biggest 😂😂😂 LOL 😂😂😂 is here, you don't understand any of this. He just say that,if you have any another company/manufacturer's camera then download it from your company/manufacturer's website(example is Dell Lenovo etc). so,understand rightfully then talk, don't spread any miss information.
