What do you do when your screen says welcome and it's just loading? It's not letting me restart it or anything and I'm extremely frustrated about ready to throw it away

It's actually work.

My computer was stuck at _sign in_ and the password box did not appear. After F5 it did not go into safe mode, but returned to the sign in screen. Command prompt and scan in safe mode returned message that it had fixed corrupted files, but windows remained at _sign in_ without displaying a password box. Finally, I had to resort to resetting windows 11, which I did from the cloud and chose delete installed programs and files. That enabled me to log into Windows, as evidenced by me typing this comment. However, I have not yet tried a restart to see what happens. I think the issue was caused by me immediately installing programs as soon as I had finished installing Windows on this new computer that made changes to the system. This time I have taken a more conservative approach. The only new program that I added was Google Chrome and I am going to wait a few days so that all updates are completed before installing others, such as Norton or any that make changes to the system. This time I did not sign into my Microsoft account, as I understand that might be a factor that causes this issue. I am optimistic that now I will be able to log in again after shutting down, but am going to leave the computer running overnight and will not know the answer until I try to log in tomorrow. The aftermath: A few days later all is well. My suggestions: On a new computer with Windows 11 being installed for the first time: Install Windows. Do _not_ sign in to your Microsoft account. After installation before installing anything else put the computer through at least two restarts and one full shut off. You might notice that each time you restart the computer installs updates. I am extra cautious and allow the computer to stay on for a day before installing anything else. Then install Chrome unless you wish to stick with Microsoft Edge browser. Do a restart. In subsequent days install each program and a printer driver, doing a restart after each installation and a complete shut off at least once a day. My initial sign-in issue was caused by files that became corrupted and beyond repair when I attempted to install programs before Windows 11 had updated, which seems to take at least two restarts.

What if my pc is stuck on locating wheel and says welcome???

This didnt help shit. Theres no opyion to input my password once i do all these steps. It just goes to the screen and doesnt let me input my password. Why?

If safe mode is working but when i restart my laptop it's still stuck on the logo please tell me the solution 🙏🏻

Hi, I followed the steps, but in Safe Mode nothing works. The keyboard doesn't work, and the touchpad doesn't work either. My main problem is, my windows get stuck after installing new windows. After updating the drivers, update the Windows updates. Need help

Nope, nothing worked, not safe mode, not SFC scan, not "uninstall latest updates", not even a full reset. Still does the exact same thing. Before yesterday there was a "password" box underneath my name, I type in my password, and boom, I'm in, no issues whatsoever, everything is golden. Yesterday, instead of the password box, it just has a sign in box. I click that, it takes forever and a day, and goes to a "sign into Microsoft account" screen (which it never did before). I sign in with my usual password, it takes me to a security system screen that mentions "unusual activity", and wants me to sign into a backup account that I had before but haven't used in several years. So I sign into a different account that I had, still same thing. I created a new account, still same thing. This whole issue started when the "password" box underneath my name (that has always been there since day 1) suddenly for no reason was replaced by the small "sign in" box. I've never had an issue with this laptop, which is a 3 year old HP, it has always worked to perfection since the day I bought it. Now this sudden change in the sign in process has created one huge headache.........
