if at nothing else he at least showed an interesting tool that could be used in an RDS environment? Also doesn't seem to necessarily be only for "Disconnected" sessions either. I'm more curious on how it can hijack the session without entering the disconnected users credentials.

Also you can change passwords manually with admin command prompt using ‘net user {username} {newpasswordhere} and it will change their password to the inputed password

Would interesting to have a explanation how this program achieves this. Also, as someone said in the comments, since the program requires admin access, it kinda defeats the purpose to bypass Windows login. From one side, you can connect to the other session without (maybe) being noticed, but from the other you already need to have admin account. Thanks for the video!

This seems like it's a protection for computers with multiple users. So one user isn't able to log out and then the second user hijack their account. Seems very useful in that sense.

another method, if you don't know password to any user/admin on windows: linux live usb or windows installation usb, open command prompt and change cmd name to magnifier program name or do it in linux gui, then on login screen press magnifier icon and you have cmd access with admin priveleges, and you can change any password, but it won't work if you have your microsoft password, only works on local accounts

just boot a usb with a live linux distro, mount the windows drive within the live distro, then access all the files and do whatever. this works to access files without login as long as you can access BIOS

consider you have root access to a local pc but not a domain controller. Could be handy if this is grabbing cached windows credentials (Maybe a Domain admin has signed into the workstation at some point). That would be exploring beyond the purpose of this video tutorial though
