Actually when you click the start menu icon in Windows Vista and 7, it still glows but weaker than hover

Agreed. I hate simplicity. Flat design for a phone is understandable because they are underpowered to run 3d effects with no lags but for a desktop flat design is just awkward

@@minecraftshorts5499 Windows 10 is good but only Version 1507 until 1607. Windows 10 just go downhill on 1709 and newer. Windows 11 just looks new but actually Windows 10.

Seems like Windows 11’s start button came back with the non simplistic look than Windows 10 because of the animation when you click on it. But it’s still not there with the amazing glow of the Windows 7 start button.

@@waynenathanieltheanimator the "basic" theme in win11 is the same as the one in vista and 7 tho, but Microsoft will not go back to aero ever again sadly

Windows 11 doesn't actually have one at all, it just re-uses the same effect like hoving your mouse over any application button.

i think flat designs are better than that of the 3d designs of windows vista and 7. these complicated 3d designs are hurting my eyes imo. also windows 11 logo > windows 10 because it actually looks like a window.
