Hello WinExp!,
Here is a video of all the startups of the SEGA consoles!
The SEGA consoles were very popular in the 90s but because of
the bad sales figures SEGA decided to only develop games.
The startups are very pleasant and nostalgic! So that's why I made a video of it!
In the startups, you have a difference in regions, like the American startup of the Dreamcast is different than the startup in Europe.
In the screen, you also see the year the console is released and the console itself.
Give me some inspiration! I have enough inspiration till July! :)
I hope you enjoyed the video and a lot of nostalgia.

Man the Saturn and DreamCast are consoles that never got the love and respect that they deserved because SEGA’s mistakes, the PS1 and PS2 took it all away . :(

@Miles Tails Prower Power you do realize it's also sega of Japan's fault to right? Sony and sega also were going to team up. Sony would help sega make the hardware and games but sega of japan just wanted to stick with the Saturn. The Sega CD startups is actually a screen-saver that plays when there is no disc, that is why it says "Press RESET to open the CD tray" or "NO DISC". When you put a disc in, then it gives you a little chime like the PS and PS2.

Technically, the Genisis and Game Gear SEGA screens aren't actually startup screens, as they are stored on the cartridge, which is why they differ from game to game. I remember watching a video about Sonic 1 and they mentioned that the "SEGA!" choir at the start look up more space on the cartridge than the actual game.

Sega Megadrive and Dreamcast were the ones I had. The memories are back :D The dreamcast had a short catalogue of games but each were so fun. ChuChu Rocket, Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5. I also remember a fishing game and Dead or Alive. Can't forget Power Stone and Sonic Adventure :)

First off, the SEGA Genesis & Game Gear had no "official" boot screen. Also, I find the Japanese & Euro boot screens for the SEGA CD more aesthetically pleasing. ☺️

I knew the Master System was going to be better than the NES when I saw the intro and then the instructions telling you to turn off the system and insert the game, where without a cartridge the NES sat there not knowing what to do...looking like a 2600.

Genesis had no start up, it just loaded the game and the game had it's own start up or no start up and just started on the title screen or with copyright info before showing a title screen or demo play. If there was no cartridge in the Genesis it would just show a black screen.

The SEGA Master System screen at 0:53 isn't actually a startup. The text translates to "Turn off the power before inserting a game" or something like that, so this is rather an error screen than a startup.
