Until they started making their electronics detect "aftermarket" / non-OEM parts and locking you out of the unit. If I purchase a tractor for $50,000+, I should be free to replace the parts with what I'm able to get, not with only the parts you want me to get.

Old John Deere's are good, current John Deere's are alright, but apparently John Deere are having backlash due to their trimble GPS thing, I think.
