So happy, when this happened before bmw charged me £170 + to remove wheel and flush tank through, my valve is a bit different, I am a 70 year old lady and managed this, such clear video, very grateful to you.

Followed your tips for my rear jet washer nozzle on an Audi A4, which have been working terrible for too long. Fix worked flawlessly and now it sprays furiously!

Thanks for this. My rear washer on my 130i stopped working. Followed the first part of the video to remove the jet - then soaked it overnight in detergent. Put it back on in the morning and hey-presto! Working water. Thanks!

Nice proposition. Thank you. Next time try with vinegar and wait 8-12 hours instead of the WD40 mess. I found the use of WD40 excessive.

Hello mate, I have this issue ...I will try this fix. However I have the same issue with the front wipers where the water spits out rather than a nice flow of water. Do you have a fix for that?

This hasn't worked for me unfortunately. Air bubbles are rising to the top of the valve suggetsing there is movement in the fluid but the screen wash is not coming out of the valve. Not sure what to do.

My X1 has a similar problem but its the front washers. Hoping its just the cold weather thats frozen them up.

George I had the problem of the windscreen wipers not working on my 330ci clubsport, the motor was working but nothing getting through. I checked the filter below the motor input, there are no tools required, rotate the motor pull it out of the rubber fitting in the washer bottle , pull out the rubber fitting from the washer bottle and you will find this rubber fitting has a filter attached, mine was blocked with gunk from the windscreen washer fluid. cleaned refitted and problem solved.

If I keep hold of it on my E87 it will constantly throw water out until I stop. 2011 E87 118D.

It's normal on some models it has two outputs of water and yes they keep pumping water until you let go of it

Good fix! BMW would of charge £150 for replacing parts, which didn't need replacing. Having a BMW shouldn't mean BIG MONEY WORRIES!

I would suggest you check the water level first and spraying WD40 on the car body wouldn’t be good for the paint. PaperClip ? Anyway thanks for the Video and Motivation 🇦🇺

Firstly, never wear your wiper blade out on a dry screen. Lift it off before you hit the water button. Second, the washer pump will pump stronger if the engine is revved.
