This was a trash find. Found at curb. Needed a new cord which I replaced off camera and one other repair shown in a different video. These are one of my favorite machines.

These are well built vacuums, essentially a carbon copy of the Sebo X4 made for commercial use. I had one myself that I bought cheap (by cheap I mean $100 which was cheap for one of these knowing how much their Sebo counterparts are worth). Fun fact: You can actually run Sebo bags and filters in these vacuums, since they're exactly the same vacuum.

I love these machines, too. Very good commercial quality. Last I remember, Windsor changed over from blue and white to gray and yellow.

This is an excellent trash find. Windsor Sensor XP12 (Sebo Automatic X1) are excellent vacuums for sure!

i always thought the roller actually adjusted in our out , then when i found out its just a wheel that lifts the machine automatically was a little disappointed. . nice steam cleaning!

It's easy to think it's the roller that adjusts up or down but it's more simple and makes more sense that's its just the wheel from an engineers point of view.

why dose these types of models of vacuums need a clutch like what does it do then slow down the brush rapidly

Greetings, ( Amazing video! ) I was removing the long micro filter on my Sensor and not knowing it wasn't mandatory, I removed the screw that attaches the metal wire & spring that sits behind the filter ( its shown @ 13:23 in your video ) and now I can't figure out how to reattach the wire & spring to the screw. Is there nay way you can help me out with a minor explanation as to how to reinstall it? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for showing us how to fix one of these vacuums. I don't speak German so I can't fix those. I notice you fix a lot of vacuums, so is that your business? After fixing them do you sell them? Using the steamer should help kill germs, bugs and eggs I would think along with removing dirt and stains. That steamer actually makes steam--hmmm, What brand is the steamer. I bought one and all it did was to make warm water. Should have returned it. Thanks for sharing the video and stay safe.

It’s something I do for a few reasons. Next to mowers and smal engine stuff, the vac vids end up doing really well with view counts and monetization. I’ve sold a few on eBay and on OfferUp but many of the cheaper ones I make a video on end up being donated to Salvation Army for someone to hopefully get a good working machine for cheap.

How do you fix the vacuum bag handle? So I can't change the bag cause the handle is broken and I can't open the vacuum bag.

Hey Hank great video. I was wondering if you knew what the orange/yellow clip is for on the back of what I think is called the swivel neck assembly. Its on the back of the piece you push down horizontally at 1:35. The clip says free and lock and is able to be moved over to either side or left in the middle but I cant figure out what it actually does. You clean it directly at 7:25

@@hanksgarage_ not the pedal you step on right above that connected to the back of the neck. You can twist it side to side and on the back of the neck it reads free and lock. I can’t find any info on it online

hey I went to replace the Internal cable (5255ER Windsor Sensor Internal Cable 3 Wire) and in my hurry didn't realize the cord needed to feed through the small hole before putting the connections in. Is there any way to remove this portion again or is it permanent now? I tried wiggling a little but feared they may not be removable at this point. Thanks for any help/info!
