Thanks a lot for this very useful series on Languedoc-Roussillon wine. One of the most value-for-money regions in France as you pointed out.

Enjoyed the cast. FYI, no L sound in Roussillon. ROO-see-yoh(n)

This video was very helpful as always. As it covers such a large part of VDN, it might be interesting to include it in the title, so people find the video also when looking for that in particular. Thank you so much again!

Bonsoir Unknown (not in my home! 😄) Winecaster, Thank you so, so much for your high quality videos. Your angle is different, precise and incredibly captivating. Love them! Funny to see one of Jeff Carrel's wines in the cover photo. His wines are a great way to discover what the region has to offer. All the best to you and thanks again!

What a great cast again, thank you very much :) If your viewer want to learn more about the region, and how wine is and has always been a big deal there, I advise them to take a look at what we call the "revolte des vignerons" which are among the biggest riots we had in the country. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolt_of_the_Languedoc_winegrowers This contentious cultural heritage has a lot to do with the difficulties Robert Mondavi had in the region and finally its failure when he wanted to create a winery in Ariane, North of Montpellier.

That's a really interesting topic. The entire Mondo Vino series is available on Amazon Prime and it begins with "l'affaire Mondavi" as the locals called it. Cheers!

Hello and thank you for all the videos and information! I think I heard on one of them that you’re a Seattle guy, excellent! Have you checked out Total Wine in Interbay? I work there as part of the wine team. I love your videos and brush up on my knowledge via your channel often! Much appreciated!

My pleasure! Thanks for taking the time to watch them. I didn't know there was a TW in Interbay -- must be one of the few in Seattle proper (I can only come up with Northgate for another Seattle store). I'll drop by sometime and say hello. Thanks again for writing in, and I hope we get to meet sometime. Cheers!
