I just found your video a day before my WSET diploma exam! I wish I found them earlier as they are really well done and a perfect review. I will stay tuned from now for my next chapters! Thank you

I recently had a 1966 Kopke Colheita (bottled in 2016) which has inspired me to look for more fantastic ports to add to my wine cellar. I have been asking questions about port at local wine store tastings, and it looks like most of the answers from distributors and retailers were wrong. This cast has been very helpful, and I'm looking forward to watching all of your other videos.

I’ve just finished my WSET exam, but I still wasn’t able to understand well about port after all the readings and after exam until I watched your video. It was really helpful, thank you

I've noticed with most ppl taking the level 3 exam is not the 50 multiple choice questions or the blind tasting its the 5 short written answers that ppl have a problem with. So I'm focusing on the short answer questions instead of the multiple choice...

Yeah, my experience was that the short answers were the most challenging because you had to really read the questions carefully to make sure you knew what they were looking for; you also couldn't use elimination to help you out in a pinch like you could on the multiple choice. I did like how the short answers required that you really had mastery of the material, though. I felt a sense of achievement after finishing that section that I didn't feel in the multiple choice. Anyway, I'm rambling. I hope you have a good experience on your test. Cheers!

I enjoy port and wine made in the port style. Your ability to lay out the facts the way you do amazes me. I've put together some impressive case files that were scrutinized by some heavy hitting defense attorneys. However I wouldn't attempt one of your casts. My hats off to you sir.

It's a great style -- the unsung hero who came up with it deserves some sort of posthumous Contribution to Humanity award. I appreciate the compliment. I actually think of my videos as dossiers. The idea is that they can be used as reference -- just go back and watch the part you need information on and eventually it'll all start to stick. That's how I learn stuff, and I figure I can't imagine I'm the only one like that out there. By the way, really been enjoying the Hangar 41 videos. Too bad your friend didn't get a case -- then you could've done 12 days of Christmas. Cheers!

Anyone that has tried good port will recognize that there being a health benefit to a "fortified wine" is a given. One feels reeeeally good

Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful. Sherry's gonna be a beast (like Port), so I'm trying to find a week when I've got a lot of free time to devote to it. Hopefully soon. Cheers!

Thanks for an excellent séries of casts on Port. A question: when the label reads : “Reserve Port” is this an indication for a Ruby style or for a Tawny?
