Nice discussion, you guys make a good point about gearing up for your area. I live in the SF bay area always good wind somewhere if you're willing to travel. I like driving a half mile to my local launch which is usually in the 15mph range. I think if you are on foil it's just as much fun if you are going 25 or 10, if turning is your thing. Using small foils in light wind conditions leads to being afraid to come off foil so most guys end up mowing the lawn. On the water freestyle is where I find my joy so bigger foils and smaller wings. Good to hear on the 7 Seas, I was originally thinking Eagle but for all around riding I think the 7 Seas is a better choice. Wonder how you would compare the Axis HPS 930 to the Seven Seas 1200. F-One is definitely a little higher aspect then the Axis but I think they are the most comparable.

Very comparible, the 7Seas is a bit more surfy in the turns and has a little better stall speed. -Tucker

Axis 1201 is the all round for me, all conditions now!

If the waves are higher than 2 feet, the Axis Spitfire 960 is on another level, imho. The thing can really turn on a dime.
