Welcome! Today I'm taking inspiration from a youtuber called 4rcane and I'm doing the Wings of Fire Tribe Generator Challenge! 4rcane made a fantribe using just a random emoji... I couldn't quite get on that level so I also used a fantribe generator website to give me more ideas! I've never made a fantribe before but I've wanted to for a while. I liked it a lot so I ended up making two! Let me know which one is your favorite, whether you've seen 4rcane's video, and of course let me know if you have any better names for these tribes because I struggled!

Hi here! Im actually the creator of the tribe gen, and to put it lightly it is an honor to see someone actually use my tribe gen. I made it a few years back, after seeing the WOF oc generator growing in popularity. It was a little passion project for a few weeks, though I've stopped updating it now. I love that you built off the base idea of the generator, and expanded it into a whole society. Great thanks mate.

Maybe they use the smoke from their vents as smoke screens, making it easier to run away and/or giving an advantage to those of them with nightvision

I like the desert one and I have a good name for the beach dragons the Coastal wings or just the Coastal dragons I think it’s an interesting name for them

that would be a good name for them! idky but the name coastalwings reminds me of their colors more than tidewings does? (maybe my next ocean type dragon will be called coastal dragons)

I think for the desert ones LizardWings? Maybe for the beach dwellers BeachWings? CavernWings? CaveWings?

Oooh these are so cool! I never knew there was a tribe generator. You developed them so well! I especially liked the desert tribe. I think for names, CliffWings for the first one and HazeWings for the second.

Yeah! It's really fun and good inspiration! And thank you. Also HazeWings reminds me of the wavy mirage/haze you get when it's really hot. Perfect for a desert tribe :)

I used the generator and got: This tribe lives in valley, and is a herbevourus tribe. They have a large body, with small rounded horns. This tribe has beaks. They also have hook like claws, and this tribe is able to survive for 1 weeks without food and use a prehensile tai. This tribe does not have any animuses

honestly, i think the names u came up with are unique and awesome for ur fantribe, but i must put in some of my name ideas: no#1: for the Beachwings, Cliffwings, or Shorewings no#2: for the Desertwings, Lizardwings, or Sailwings these are just some opinions on naming ideas, but yours fit the dragons super well!

Oh thank you! Oooh I really like sailwings. It makes me want to emphasize the sail in the design as well which I think would make for a really cool looking dragon.

It would be cool if the desert dragons could create a smokescreen of sorts with their smoke ability by holding the smoke in but it may hurt them due to overheating if they hold it in for too long

I always thought they’d make a smokescreen by like gradually/slowly letting smoke out! Thinkin along similar lines I think

Just love it! They both look awesome and I would love seeing you do more of these! I think the names are fitting tbh they sound very good. When you are done with creating these tribes you could start developing some characters out of them! That would be awesome!

Tribe idea- they are called voidwings, they are able to live in space but they prefer not to. They don't walk, they hover in they air and they don't use their talons, they can control objects from ten feet away. They do not talk, they project their thoughts into other dragons minds. There tribe is highly respected and they treat all dragons with respect, whenever there is a conflict the voidwings solve it. There is no other tribe that dislikes the voidwings.

I like the second but the first is plane sooo~ suggestion: piercing wing , spiral wing , blue death , eel wing , wings of ice , tunnel wing any of those I like but it's your choice!!!

Dudeee these are such good suggestions! I’d totally call them either like piercingwings (or something like that) or spiralwings if I didn’t already have like 3 vids calling them tidewings 😅.

It’s close, but the Desert dragons are definitely my favorite. Edit: Potentially for the Desert tribe, OasisWings? TideWings is really good though!

I think the desert one should be called a CactusWing because cacti also store water in their bodys

@@abookwyrmdraws or unintentionally intentional, but I agree with you that Geckos can be so cute, add in that the creator of the series took inspiration from other real life reptile species for other tribes and it just makes it so that your fantribes fit into the world

What brush did you use for sketching? Also I love the concepts of these dragons! They look awesome :)

Ahh thank you! The brush is one I edited from one of the ink brushes actually… or maybe the round paintbrush? I changed the name and I really don’t remember which brush it started as 😅. It definitely has pressure opacity and the shape source is a hard edged circle. I hope that helps a bit 😬

My fan tribe is Furwings I won't get to deep but their queen is Tiger each dragon has its own breed of animal like one of my oc's is named puma a breed of big cat. In some spots their r more fur like paws under bellies and chins and tails and the head spike things. Their jaws will release venom when biting another dragon.they live on Phoenixia. That's all I have I hope u liked learning a bit about my tribe!

Thank you! I don’t use a pencil I use like an altered form of one of the pens. I made it so long ago I don’t remember which pen it’s made from but I can look up settings for it if you’d like!
