YES! YES! So that rules out Scarlett in the Prophecy, considering that she died. Who else thinks that Darkstalker is the 'darkness of dragons' and Moon is 'not who she seems'? Can't forget about Peril and Turtle with 'talons of power and fire'! Who's with meh?!

I slightly disagree, it would be better as a series and that would be hundreds of hours of animation I understand there are animation movies but those arent too detailed and the dragons of WoF are super detailed it took me over an hour to draw a nightwing head and neck... granted it was the first time but still... I would still love of there was a movie/TV series! I'm just saying it unlikely :c

Ok so I think I mostly figured out the prophecy. Beware the stalker of dreams is probably darkstalker, beware the talons of power and fire is maybe scarlet and beware one who is not what she seems might be sora, scarlet, or even peril. Jade mountain will fall beneath thunder and ice might refer to a thunder, hail or/and snow storm. And remember the place that the ancient nightwings fled after they buried darkstalker? That's most likely the " lost city of night".

so I was thinking that the prophecy was that the darkness of dragons has something to do with the night wings taking the throne from glory,and the stalker of dreams is darkstalker, the talons of fire is either scarlet, or peril, one who is not what she seems might be pyrite, (for those who have read winter turning), and "something is coming to shake the earth, something is competing to scorch the ground" might be the awakening of darkstalker, jade mountain will fall beneath thunder and ice, idk, but I think it has something to do with the ice wings, and the lost city is obviously the place where the night wings lived before they moved to the volcano. also I think darkstalker is buried under jade mountain.

May contain spoiler for winter turning Because everyone thinks winter is dead from the trial, what if queen glacier tells the dragonets at jade mountain and moon and Qibli hear about it. Also because everyone thinks he's dead he can be with moon as no one will care what he does as long as no one tells the icewing he is still alive.

OH THREE MOONS I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING THAT COULD BE STORY CHANGING!! I THINK I HAVE FOUND OUT WHERE DARKSTALKER IS BURIED!!!! I was rereading The Brightest Night for the fifth time when this time I found something incredible! On page 44 while Sunny was folowing fierceteeth and the others, they stopped to rest in a forest. She thought there were weird sounds in it when she realized they were coming from UNDER the GROUND! She listened and thought they sounded pretty deep too. So what do you guys think? Did Sunny actually find the legendary nightwing ghost without knowing? Please tell me your thoughts and if Sunny will remember the forest!

I wish I grew up with this series. I love dragons and stories that don't hold back too much. I've only recently starting getting into it now that people have been making all kinds of animations and fanart of it, which is impressive considering books aren't as big now as they used to be.

I am thinking you guys have read all of the WoF books by now but “Thunder and Ice” is the icewing war with the nightwings that had a thunderstorm in it,and that the part where the prophecy says “Talons of power”is referring to a sandwing cult that includes Qiblis Grandfather to overthrow Queen thorn

Beware the darkness of dragons, - The evil in dragons, or Darkstalker. Beware the stalker of dreams, - Scarlet, talking to Icicle using the dream visitor nearly caused the death of the prophecy dragonets Beware the talons of power and fire, - Vulture's group and Peril when she burned the scroll, freeing Darkstalker, or Anemone when she was allied with Darkstalker. Beware one who is not what she seems. - Onyx, she appeared to be a regular student, but was the granddaughter of Queen Oasis and was working with Vulture to seize the SandWing Throne, or Pyrite, who was actually Hailstorm. Something is coming to shake the earth, - The flying object ("the fourth moon"), or Darkstalker (his size, or the destruction he will cause). Something is coming to scorch the ground. - Vulture's SandWing army, or Darkstalker and his army Jade Mountain will fall beneath thunder and ice - Qibli's storm (summoned with Anemone's weather bracelets), and the battle between IceWings and NightWings. Unless the lost city of night can be found. - The lost city needed to be found so The Soul Reader could be collected and convince Darkstalker he was evil and provide a chance to defeat him in his hesitance. The Lost City of Night was also necessary to the defeat of Darkstalker due to Foeslayer turning up there and talking to Qibli and (although he didn't know he was talking to Darkstalker's mother), he convinced Foeslayer that her son was too far gone, and this pushed her to aid Kinkajou to put an end to Darkstalker. Also, the lost city was where Kinkajou was, so if they hadn't gone to get her, Darkstalker would not have turned into Peacemaker.

I looked closer at the “ the one who does not seem what she seems” must be a sandwing most likely sunny and I know it’s a sandwing since the ridges on it’s back are a smooth sail also sunny is related to winter and maybe related to darkstalker which might be “ beware the stalker of dreams” also darkstalker is part icewing and is animus but that power was passed to whiteout another part icewing nightwing (maybe a animus too) and then passed to stonemover who’s part icewing as well I believe and might be animus again and is Sunny’s father meaning sunny is part nightwing sandwing a drop of icewing blood in her and possibly could be animus as well ( I just started reading book 5 ) I got this info from a video talking about how winter and sunny are related also Qibli is Sunny’s brother as well I think correct me if my theory is incorrect
