Guilty of a few of these. Especially that 1 more turn. I'm very bad at planning my turns thoroughly. Great video.

I'm guilty of most of these. It's a battle for me to not be greedy at the start, to prioritize early pace, to know when to stick with a strategy and when to pivot, and not waste time buffing an engine with a low-point brown power late in the game. Thanks for the pointers!

Came here expecting to see one about people placing too much emphasis on nectar. Fsr too many people taking nectar because it's there when they can't use it. Or floating food at the end of the game because they kept taking food in order to try win the nectar battle - but at what cost....

I think tunnel visioning on nectar and focusing too hard on the mind games around it. But also I would say too many players dont get at least 1 nectar on all habitats to secure that second place 2pts

As a player that started with the base game I always loaded up the egglands because it’s usually the highest point scoring area in the base game. It took quite a while playing Oceania to realize laying eggs is probably the last strategy to go for unless you have Galah obviously. Any bird that lays eggs in the forest or wetlands are ELITE in Oceania.
