Funny, smooth delivery, relatable topics, unassuming but in control, clever use of deflection and bringing audience back, and established a memorable move and catchphrase. Topical, anecdotal, observational, self deprecating, physical comedy and one-liners. Well done. Also, it's about time the black comedian beats the kid ventriloquist.

He was absolutely great, I really enjoyed his performance a lot. English is not my native language, but even so I could understand almost everything and I laughed a lot. He deserved to win, definitely and as Simon said, I never thought it would be possible to laugh with something about Covid.
