I can't shake how FaZe sometimes feel like G2, they reach deep into tournaments then all of a sudden have an embarassing loss in the next tournament

Well, G2 peak one tournament and then are silent for the next five compared to FaZe who are actual chokers (as opposed to just being a bad team that has good days). It's really a karrigan thing more than anything else. TSM? chokers. 2017 FaZe? chokers. 2020 MOUZ? chokers. 2022+ FaZe? chokers. Amazing teams which just have a proclivity to choke without fail. It's a symptom of not having a structured system like NAVI or Astralis; you get the freedom but also the instability that comes with it.

Not Cadian at all, dev1ce even said he was going to base his play style as an igl around jame (jame is a top 20 player typically) his end goal is to basically improve upon James style.

Astralis play really different. Alot of trading on going then passive and baiting approach by blamef. Astralis will be tested more when team start to figure out more of their strat. Now this Astralis are just having the advantage of unknown tactic or positions and at the same time they show phenomenal team play. Totally a different team without blame f

decimate actually comes from Caesar, it was a punishment in the legion when they didn't follow their leaders yes they did cut them into ten, but more like they gambled on their lives and every tenth was randomly killed so saying that someone decimated their enemies would literally mean to kill only 10% of them which doesn't really sound nice but i think the meaning has changed somewhat over the past 2000 years

faze need a mental reset, i feel like ropz isnt the guy we used to know, rain while still good stills posts very mediocre ratings. losing 2 finals in a row is doing them so bad. A roster change might be near the horizon for them. roles need to be set again

You can't afford to have 3 mediocre players in the team. Rain washed, broky misses 60-70% of his AWP shots and while Karrigan is one of the best IGL's, his fragging ability is questionable. I don't think Karrigan is the problem tho, rain and broky however have to be replaced

Go back to the major and look at who was best rated in their BO3 when they were at the verge of elimination. He was their best player Vs Spirit as well. Rain looks washed because he gave up a lot of his positions to Frozen, who isn't doing as expected with the space and resources he has. Frozen is the priority in the team now but his performance isn't what you'd expect from a star player. Don't look at stats, they won't tell you the whole picture. And Ropz has dropped off massively since they added Frozen.
