Does this mean that Nam grew up without a father-figure, too? I think Kang found his substitute father- figure in YG though as per a previous interview. :)

There was this newspaper interview around the early weeks of November where WINNER was asked how they "see" YG and Kang answered as a "father". He added that since he grew up without one, he really appreciated how YG was there when he was about to go astray because of his rebelliousness and YG pointed out to him the right direction. This is the reason, he said, as to why he sees YG as a father. With this discernment he shared as basis, I hope to surmise that Kang, if he did not prematurely found out about the prank or if this was not a contrived scenario, would have taken the initiative to point out the right direction to Nam, too, as he had positively benefited from such. It would not have taken place at the restaurant at that ungodly hour but perhaps back in their hotel room or some other opportunity because I don't think he would bereft Nam the same discernment. Fraternal correction is not only an emotional investment, it is also a risk but it needs to be done and clearly he knows that. He is its own example.

Gracie K i never meant he should replace seungyoon/seungyoon shouldn't be leader bc tbh mino could not deal with being leader of the team. what i'm saying is that he's a "people leader" as in yoon may do all the proper leading (and he's really good at it), i'm just saying mino is good at reading people so also holds the team together in that aspect. by "leader" i don't necceasrily mean leader of the team, i just mean it as in bringing out the best in people/keeping the kids in line, you know? don't misunderstand, i love seungyoon and i think he's maybe the best leader i've seen so far. :-)

Gracie K sorry just to explain myself a little further: as in seungyoon is a great leader in terms of producing/making the team do what they're told/leading them in terms of music and performance and stage-image, but i'm also saying mino is a good leader in the sense of off-stage, real people stuff. not that seungyoon isn't, i'm just saying understanding the fundamentals/background and morals of people's actions and such is a rare quality that mino has. i guess in conclusion what i mean is that upon rewatching this i've seen different aspects of each member which makes them all leaders of the other members in different ways, and which makes them so different from other groups and what makes them mesh so well as a team. :-)
