Brad, I've thoroughly enjoyed your channel over the years and have learned so much from you. I would love to keep seeing your builds and tutorials but i get it, man. It seems your channel has been winding down for awhile. Thanks for everything. You're very gifted.

@@BradAngove That should not be a problem. The inbuilt limiter shouldn't be bothered with it. I think that was the issue, and since there are no settings for it, it was just squishing everything completely. It's doing a poor job of it :)

Could you possible help on this?? Couldn't find a video that answered this question, thought you could help. I had Nita Strauss sign a black leather guitar strap. It appears to be silver Sharpie, might be a paint pen, it was hers. What do I spray over it? I did use your video on prepping the back of head stock for to sign, came out great. Thanks for that.

That one is a bit beyond me. I think they set airbrush work on leather with heat. I would say you definitely need to test that before trying it though. Get another strap if you can, sign it in a few places, and try: heat gun/hair dryer, iron with a piece of paper between it and the strap, and one just normal. Then rub each of them with a wet cloth and a bit of oil and see how they hold up.

What? I didn’t win? I’m utterly devastated. I’ll remember this for the rest of my life. Like Liam Neeson once said: “I will find you and cut your guitar strings.” 😂😂😂

Hi Brad, it’s me yet again, understand you’re moving and probably pretty busy so I’ll keep my question brief. Getting ready to put down a candy apple red glitter coat on the fender style body. After it drys , I was planning on putting a triple glaze finish , my question is; after I put down the first coat of the triple glaze, should I wet sand with, 800 grit and put down another coat afterwards? V/R Pat Lis
@BradAngove
@BradAngove Жыл бұрын
I would generally dry sand on a guitar to avoid the risk of the water swelling the wood. But yes you can sand the first coat and then add the others as long as you leave adequate drying time.

Hey Brad, unrelated to the video but I have a question for you . . . painted an RG with Rustoleum Glitter and there was so much texture, the Car-pro clear developed this monstrous orange peel. The glitter is so thick that level-sanding burned through, exposing silver flake. I really want to salvage it, I'm thinking one coat of blue candy to get back the blue colour (if it goes darker that would actually be a plus, I'm fine if the glitter only comes through in bright light) then more clear, can you suggest a blue candy that's available in Canada? Many thanks for the content, cheers.
@BradAngove
@BradAngove Жыл бұрын
In order to avoid reactions you may want to go water based for the candy. Are you restricted to spray cans, or can you spray an autoair candy h2o blue through a gun or airbrush?
@MrZardoz777

Truthfully I wound up hitting it with clear and the effect is pretty cool, just a little silver flake along with the blue. I'll try that candy in the future though. BTW wow, the Car-rep clear is really something, sands like a dream . . . wish I'd known about that product earlier. Thanks for the help!@@BradAngove
