They took the profits from the first one and showed that they want to be real filmmakers with it and weren't just cashing in on the public domain craze for one easy W. I can't be upset about that.

Let's put the movie to the side for a moment and thank the studio behind this movie. They took the criticisms of the last movie, which were a lot, and they learned from them. Sure, criticism suck, but if you suck it up, learn and improve from it, you will make something a lot better. It's such a basic common sense thing, so let's hope other studio's learn from this.

Bro can I just say that your channel is legitimately phenomenal? I disagree with some of your takes but you stand out among KZfaq reviewers by having a genuine talent for film criticism and writing. Every time I see one of your vids pop up on my feed it instantly grabs me and is an instant watch lol. Also you were instrumental in helping to cultivate my absolute love and obsession for the original Exorcist. Keep it up man. This Pooh Horror Universe just got interesting since this movie dropped, I haven't watched it yet but everybody is saying that it's waaaaay better, if these guys have more and more budget as they're making their movies we could have the modern slasher of copyright free Disney characters and if this is well crafted this will be a blast for horror fans!

I guess I can forgive the first movie if it made them enough money to make a decent one. Sounds like it's the difference between Ouija and Ouija: Origin of Evil, only more pronounced. I look forward to checking it out.

Them not talking was pretty well fleshed out in the first movie though. I appreciated it and it was a good build up to Pooh finally talking in the first one.

It feels like im the only one that likes that these movies tries to tell interesting and serious storys and is not only trying to be goofy and silly only because its based on old kids storys. And the Conjuring Universe seems to be almost dead and forgotten so i like that we are getting a new horror movie universe that can replace it.

So, once again they ignore Rabbit and also, apparently, Kanga and Roo. (sigh) I'm sorry, but if they're gonna have them why not have ALL of them?

I was not going to check this movie out, I haven't even seen the first movie because I heard way too many horrible things about it so I didn't even bother with the first movie but seeing this movie get praised by both critics and the audience has caught my attention and it's becoming too much for me to ignore that I said fuck it I'm a go watch this movie today 😂

It's still a very stupid idea that's going to get old real fast. And tying it to a cinematic universe? Why? The stories have hardly thing in common except they are in public domain, originated in European countries, and Disney made films about them.
