Deep within the 100-Acre-Wood, a destructive rage grows as Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger find their home and their lives endangered after Christopher Robin revealed their existence. Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, the group decides to take the fight to the town of Ashdown, home of Christopher Robin, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake. They may have fixed the plot hole from the first film which is “How did Pooh and the others survive before Christopher started looking after them?” They never had to fend for themselves because they met Christopher straight after they were “born” or created.

Pretty sure in the first one they survived off of animal instinct. The problem was that Christopher fed them and got them used to the idea of humans helping them, so by the time winter rolled around they’d forgotten how to survive

Actually, they didn't know about eating and fun. They didn't have to eat. Once Christopher brought food and played with them. That's what they liked and grew accustomed to. It actually was Christopher's fault. He gave them crack then took the pipe away. They still want crack.😅

Theory I think that the guy that Christopher was talking to was responsible for turning them into the animals and that's going to be the twist. When you think about it that's how he knows what happened to them

Theory: So in the trailer during Christopher Robin’s Therapy, he says “This was the Day Billy was taken”, so I think that Pooh is Billy. Because he befriended Christopher and he’s about the same size of a little kid when he did.

Or, maybe Billy is Tigger! Maybe Pooh and the others were kids who were buried (as you said) but his friend Billy was perhaps buried by Pooh and became Tigger! The way he's like "hello Christopher" It would also explain Tiggers absence from the first film

So it seems like Pooh and the others were once human children who were killed and buried (Billy who was taken is likely Winnie or Tigger). They then rose from the ground as zombie-animal creatures. What I want to know is if Pooh was evil and deranged from the start (when he becomes Pooh bear)…or was he only evil after eating Eeyore? The first film said that Christopher and Pooh were good friends and adult Christopher was shocked that Pooh and Piglet were violent. But Pooh looks deranged from the start here and that man said it was horror arising. Plus the actor who plays young Pooh said he is crazy…so that contradicts the first film that suggests Pooh was his sweet self and had a wholesome friendship with Christopher.

they have a pretty clever answer for it. not sure if you care about spoilers so if you do don't keep reading my comment here. but basically Pooh was always a creepy monster but because of Christopher Robins childhood youth and naivety he remembers pooh as being much more kind, cute and light hearted than he really was

Do what I do, separate your childhood, Disney version of Winnie the Pooh from this... Abomination in your mind. It's how I rationalize it, this version of Pooh is completely different from our childhood Pooh, and comparing the two of them is kinda pointless. Separating nostalgia from horror content based on nostalgia makes it easier to watch without it ruining your childhood. Just some food for thought lol

The 2 guys that are in the first 45 seconds of this clip are _garbage!_ They're _supposed_ to be talking in english, but they're actually _mumbling_ while their mouths are stuffed full of I-don't-even-wanna-know-what! Gonna be honest, the first movie was awful. I went to see it with my brother, and the only reason we both stuck around until the movie was over was because neither of us told the other we thought it was awful. If we'd both known we both hated it, we would have left. The movie really was that bad. The acting was terrible, the story was terrible, the dialogue was terrible, the cinematography wasn't great, the costumes were lousy (and I'm speaking as someone who loves 80's horror movies, but 80's horror movie costumes tended to be better) and frankly the only good part about the experience was the food we got, and even that couldn't stand up against how bad the movie was. I've no idea if they've come a long way since the first movie, and they would have to.

The low budget & Disney (but mostly the low budget) flubbed the first one. It's "okay" (to some us) with that in mind. This one looks much better. They both have their flaws (characters were a _lot_ smaller in the books, so they should've hired dwarfs), but what's done is done.
