In Chapter 1 of A.A. Milne's classic tale of childhood imagination, Winnie the Pooh tries to scale a tree to get some honey. After falling off a branch into a bush, he comes up with an ingenious Plan B: fly up the tree in a balloon. It all goes off perfectly- until Pooh runs into the bees.
