Join myself and my 78 year old Dad as we fish and win the Garmin Little Ships reef rumble fishing competition held on North Stradbroke Island, Brisbane, Australia. Catching Snapper, Pearl Perch, Jewfish, Bar cod and get a surprise when a huge cuttlefish jumps on the end of my line.

We caught a similiar cuttlefish at the 50's off Southport 25 years ago and I still remember the ink!

Thanks mate so good to win 5 years with him by my side. Yeah I've never seen toadfish like that in any of the fish before. So bizarre. That's awesome economy from the Suzi mate. Got to be happy with that.

Wow the Cuttle fish! That shirt will never be the same again 🤣 Also, I have never seen a fish with toad fish in its stomach, do you know what species the toadfish are?

That's awesome mate! Where were you catching those snapper in 100m? I assume north of Moreton?

Thanks heaps mate. The Snapper came from several spot ranging from 55 to 100 mtrs mate. We fished out from both Moreton and North Stradbroke Island.

Hey Greg I used to use the pink platypus low stretch mono for floating seems to hide in the water column ok . What mono you recommend for floating . Cheers

I use 35lb Schneider for my floatlining. Super strong and great abrasion resistance.
