Winning Iceman 2023: Unlike any other bike race in the USA

Join us to go back 34 years to the creation of the Iceman Cometh before fast forwarding to a sunny edition in 2023. Alexey wins his third Iceman on board a very special Factor Lando HT bike designed just for this race, but it was not without some luck!
Thank you to Sophie Linn, and Dan Ellis for the hours spent working on the custom frame.
Special shout out to Avery Stumm for filming and editing after racing his own Iceman as well as Joshua Strong, Collin Crane and everyone else who shared videos from the sidelines!

This race is a ton of fun, but it’s also been a life changing event for some. Whether you’re racing to compete, or to complete, it’s a place to challenge yourself, an opportunity to push yourself to be better, and build lasting bonds with people from all over the country. Love this.

Alexey, you are great for the sport. I feel fortunate to live in Michigan and to be able to participate in the race even though my only goal is to ride faster than I did the previous year. What a great time that race is and you summed it up perfectly.

I was there and saw the finish. Tyler is a real threat, and a race is never over until the end in any part of life. Your attitude and skill put you on top. Nice job. Spoke to you at the awards, your a great representative for the sport. 💪 Killed it with the bike paint btw

Love this race. The atmosphere is one of a kind. Did it many times, but it has been a few years since I raced it. I can't believe a pic of me in 2012 made the video at the 1:12 mark.

Congrats!!! It was a great race this year. I had your number from last year, except I didn't have the result, not that I was going to 🤣. Having a sinus infection didn't help, but pumped for next year!

It's such a great race and the party is even better. I don't plan to race it but I mentioned to my girlfriend that we may plan a camping trip there next year just for the fun and to help some friends with transporting gear around.

@@alexeyandavery I think I'm going to, I really want her to see how much fun it is. I'd love to race it but given the structure of staging these days I'd be pretty frustrated starting way back. Alexey and I lined up in a few races back in the day, had some fun times in breakaways at Waterford Hills when he was just a kid. I knew you'd have a great cycling career after making a fool of us in Fenton just riding away on the last lap. No one wanted to chase, he's just a kid they said, I was like look at the way he's riding, he may be a kid but we won't see him again.

I am seriously looking into the factor Lando HT, as far as some of the other bikes, you have ridden. How does it stack up.
