QM1 for bomb & feeder, Kaizen a lot for general fishing and F1 maggot on the river for roach & skimmer with caster, maggot or punch bread. Really informative video, thanks guys

had a 12's kaizen eyed nearly straighten out on small commercial earlier..... Come home and this is in my notifications 😂 Guru MWG12 saved the day.....Heavy AF 💪

Kaizen are my fav hooks at the minute, hook hold is awsome. and hide in things like corn with ease.

Great video. Lots of good advice as always. I'm on Preston GPM-B for hookable bait on the pole (SFL-B in the winter if they are really hard to catch) Preston XSH-B for hookable in the margins Guru SLWG for banded pellet / caster - typically shallow Preston MCM-B or QM1 on the method - really need to decide which to stick to Rarely use smaller than a 14 - but I'm tempted now to get some 12's....and maybe on lot of 10's !

Good old Kamasan Animal barbless spades were what I used to use for most fishing.

My goto hooks are QM1, MXC, KKM.

I like the drennan wide gape hooks for pellets and corn the bait just seems to sit better on them

Super Pellet Waggler from Guru. Also QM1, some LWG. KKM-B from Preston. And the red small hook from Drennan for small fish. But got some little Matrix hook, can't recall the type

As a challenge I’d love to see Andy and jay versus two carp anglers first half both carp fish alarms all that second half match style see how well both sets of teams adapt to each style of fishing just a thought

That’s why the first half would be on a low stock pit or something see how Jamie and Andy fair in fisheries where you have to take a completely different way of fishing

I use kamasan for silverfish and drennan banded hooks for my carping all in 14's to 20's

Preston GPM-b in 18,16,14 spade for everything commercial and Guru QM1 for bomb/method work. Trying out the Guru F1 pellet but not 100% sold yet... More testing required!

had number of fish come off when using kaizen so went to preston kkm-b and kkh and better! still like guru f1 pellet and maggot

I only have QM1's in 14 and 16 with band or with out i feel a more circular type hook gets a better chance to hook n hold. in 4 inch for method and 6 inch for float or waggler am i missing something?

Great vid guys love the content but it's made me think am I using enough different types? Kkm-b for hair rigs - carp Mcm-b self hooking on bomb or methord Slwg for f1 That's all I use do you think I need to incorporate may be 1 more ? Cheers🎣

I'm currently trying out the Mustad Octopus circle 10/0 that just came to Australia earlier this year. I'm targeting Eagle Rays and Gummy Sharks.

Hooks catch more anglers than fish. Can't go wrong with kamasan for 95% of all my coarse fishing

My "go to" hook is a 4/0 Varivas Big Mouth, it'll take most things I'll encounter in UK waters. Bit over sized for the type of fishing you guys do though.

Kamasan and gamakatsu only hooks you need for coarse fishing and drennen, mustad rest just copy on the money train.

They just need upgrading to the 'T' version which Kamasan have done with a couple patterns, but the X-Strongs and F1s could better with becoming coated.

@@WoolavyLeeWilliams yeah it just patterns I've used for many years and I've never had a problem with them. Coated would be a good way to go for them.
