Beautiful, crisp painting. I love coastal and lighthouse subjects. Just one thing, the horizon looks higher at the left of the house than the right. Apart from that, lovely painting. 😊

Thank you once again. I will not be able to paint for a while but I can't resist skipping through your videos to see what I am missing! I will definitely have this on my list so I can return to it in the not so distant future! Have house projects going on so who knows how long... Love the ocean scenes and old boats and the floral ones as well.

I've noticed the watercolors I have dry with a grainy, chalky, almost powdery finish that I'm not fond of. I'm not using expensive professional paints. Is this result a problem of the paint or the paper, or both? Thank you for your expertise!

Hi, from my experience I’m pretty sure the paints would be causing the chalky look and feel. Hope it doesn’t cause you too much aggravation.

Really enjoy- one little suggestion: You don’t need to tell the audience to subscribe at every break. Most people know how to do that. They will either like what’s going on or not. I find it distracting and annoying that you you keep trying to “sell it” Your work speaks for itself. That said: I really enjoy watching the way you paint and it’s helpful to me because I tend to be more freestyle and need some more structure to be balanced.
