In this video, I set up camp on the bank of a tributary of a large river. At night the temperature dropped to -15 C. One of the canals is covered with ice . The ice was not yet thick enough, and in the afternoon, when the temperature rose to 0 C, the river made unusual sounds. I built a primitive shelter to stay cold at night. I made a small fireplace and cooked meat on a stick. When the sun went down, the predators went on the hunt and I managed to make some shots of the video. I wish you a pleasant viewing!!!

I would have used some of the dirt from the bunker to create a berm all around so that even if it rained hard, water could not find its way in by sheer force of gravity. This is a very good design, should be safe and secure. The design of the upper part could be used even if there were too many rocks to dig the bunker.

Very clever. At first I thought, "That hole will fill up with water". But I see that properly covered that is not likely. And it allows the use of the fireplace in the side of the underground bunker.

The next time you have a piece of beef like that, turn the side with the silverskin towards you, with the meaty side down. Use your knife to get under the edge of the silverskin, and you can usually pull it off with your fingers. You might have to do it more than once, depending on the piece of beef. You'll be left with a much better piece of beef!

Hello friend! I have not had such a case that the stones would explode. In my sauna, there were always such stones on the stove, they are very hot, and we pour water on them to get hot steam, and they never exploded. Perhaps there is a certain breed of stones that can explode. Thanks for the comment! I will keep this in mind for the future.
