Winter Camping in a Snow Storm - Buried Alive Survival - Heavy Snowfall Tent Camp in the North. ASMR versions coming soon.
This was the most heavy snowfall I have ever experienced in the wild. I backpacked with my skis into the mountains of the north to camp by an amazing glacier and ended up being buried alive in heavy snowfall. The extreme weather was quite exciting, scary and beautiful and multiple plans where made for survival. When it was all over a new snow challenge waited for me, van life related, so, to be continued...❄️🏕☕️
Enjoy the winter storm camping video my friends from around the world, appreciate you all!

About me: I am an adventurer and wilderness explorer. My youtube channel focus on outdoor wilderness adventures and exploration, backpacking, hiking, canyoneering, skiing, climbing and mountaineering. Nights spent in a tent, alone or with friends. From the snow covered mountains and misty fjords of the North to the remote plateaus of Yellowstone and the debts of the red canyons of Utah to the summit of Mt Whitney and the heart of Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park. I love the Wilderness! Email is under "For business inquiries", for general questions please comment on a video, I try to answer everyone.

Don’t know if you have noticed the vivid optical illusion of a man’s face in the mountain, at around 01:10 to 01:37. It’ starts in the middle of the picture, bottom half of the screen. As you zoom in it becomes even more apparent, blowing up to more lifelike proportions with the details travelling slightly right of centre and further towards the top of the screen.

I always enjoy your adventures & seeing you out & about in Mother Nature & to see so much snow is always exciting to see. It's Høst where I am, but our nights now feel like Winter, so heating is required. Also, we don't get such snowfall, although what I would call light snowfall in mid Winter. You are a very special man, dear Jarl. It makes me smile seeing your smile waiting for the snow storm.... Although there is also a tiny little bit of scare, no ? A real adventurer as you are has to pass through all this. And you do it heroically. Spectacular the deep deep snow ! Not the slightest human being all around. All is silence except the falling of the snowflocks on your tent. Beautifull winter-images.... Has been quite a job placing and deplacing the camera.... ! I hav noticed people in Canada and the northern US drag a plastic sled behind them, with the pack in the sled, skies do not sink so far down in snow. I was with friends in northern Maine, when we came to a hole deep down in the snow. Digging down, we found a picnic table. You got quite a bit of snow there. Good time to bail out of there. Great adventure.

@@NorwegianXplorer' Inuit' is the best word for the far north people, Eskimo is the general word, overused. I think it meant cannibal. Now people don't know the difference. When I lived in Kodiak, most native people there were Aleuts. They would tell you, "I am an Aleut," not to be confused with any other people. Man you sure got dumped on by that snow in the video!

What brand of ski poles are you using? Is there any difference between ski poles & Trekking Poles? I always cringe when I see you set a fuel canister down in the snow & leave it. I love your 5-Star luxury accommodations out in the boonies. You've enjoyed a rare experience with all that snow falling on your shelter, something most of will never see/feel/experience. You may never experience another adventure with this much snow & you've been looking forward to it & enjoying it. I'm enjoying your extended versions even more than the shortened versions. Real Turmat meals are definitely sustaining you on so many of your adventures. I marvel at your enthusiasm for this kind of extreme weather. Hiking out with skis in that deep snow & recording your hike with a camera - unbelievable, but TRUE. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

Do you have details on the accumulation of snow that was on the forecast before you went in the mountains? And do you feel that your tent could not hold that weight if you did not shake it once in a while ? I once was in a big wet snowstorm and did not remove the snow during the night .
