It sure is! Thank you so much for watching. I ended up getting down to 8° but the camper stayed warm and the boys and I were safe. But we left pretty early in the morning to get back home. Great experience.

Looks like a fun camping trip with your boys. Next time you cook an MRE you need more “airflow”. Lol Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my mom in September and my stepdad the previous September. Hope to see more videos soon. Take care my friend.

@FatMatAdventures very cool video, another great adventure in the books. the chili and beans looked interesting, the hot pouch probably didnt have enough water, the water pouch should have been filled to the top fill line, not sure how full it was but pretty neat, thanks for the vid and I think i know where your location was very pretty site.

Hey buddy, thanks so much for watching. Yeah it was kind of weird. We put a little bit of water in it and then I put a little bit more and it never heated up. So I'm not sure what the deal is with that one but I have a couple more from my dad to try out. We had a good time. The kids stayed safe and warm and I can't wait to do it again. Hopefully we can hook up soon brother.

One thing to know is never have your camper plugged in to electric until you unplug the 7 prong for the truck once you hook up to power the plug to the truck has power going to it.

Is the Coleman a seasonal trailer? Didn't know it can withstand the cold.
@FatMatAdventures2 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t recommend it for long term winter camping but it’s warm enough for a few nights. The heater works well but it’s not insulated well so you end up with a cold floor and a hot ceiling.

You're right about that, 11 degrees this morning in Richardson. Hike the yellow trail a couple of weeks back and white trail next day. Spent three nights boondocking. If i see you out there would like to say hello. O yea just saw your overnight at White Top Mountain, was there this pass fall, and hike where Luke spent the night a few times. Take care see you on the trail. . @@FatMatAdventures

I had to stop watching after 10:40. Why did you open the pouch and dump the meal out? And then dump it from a big pot to a smaller one? Why not just heat it up in water, then eat it?
@FatMatAdventures14 күн бұрын
I could have and it would have worked well. I have never used the heater to cook on so I wanted to try it.
