Күн бұрынIn this vlog, I head out to Menards Carp Fishery in Horsham, UK, for a winter carp fishing session. This is an excellent venue with some big carp, and I got amongst them and had a few fish throughout my time there.
Menards Carp Fishery lies in the picturesque setting of St Leonards Forest near Horsham and has grown tremendously since its inception in the late 90s. Spanning 10 acres, this unique venue is home to various features, from carpy overhangs and islands to lily pads, bays, bars and plateaus that go as deep as 12 feet - making it an exciting fishing paradise for anglers everywhere!
We ventured inside the Parker Baits factory to capture a behind-the-scenes look at what our customers are receiving this Winter. Our journey continued to Menards Carp Fishery, taking advantage of mild winter conditions for an opportunity on the bank!
With our new branding proudly on display, we worked quickly to prepare for the darkening night. We cast two rods towards spots of chalk in front of us and one mid-water rod beside - hoping that all would prove fruitful during this session!
We also discuss the new Fruity Flat spot maggot method, our baiting approach and all things Menards & Parker Baits.

Really like you guys and have visited some of the same fisheries that you have, as a direct result of watching your vids. In fact, I am heading to Menards (#10) this weekend and will defo pick up some of your bait while I'm there :) Remind me NOT to come over to yours for dinner!! 🤣🤣🤣

Nice one mate those carp are beautifull it looks a very nice venue your catering skills abandoned you on this vlog lol i agree with u 100% about resting swims on quiet intimate water it makes a huge difference as always ben a great video cheers fella tightlines

It all went wrong mate on the catering side of things. Resting swims is going to play a massive part in my angling this year. Menards is a tricky place with twitchy fish, it made sense to let it sit. All the best mate 👍🏻

Great vlog as always boys. But Ben what was that egg bread disater all about lol. get some spray and fry ,spray the out side of the bread put 1 bit in the pan flaten it out a bit ,crack the egg in. Put the 2ed bit of bread on top, criimp the edges of both bits together .Cook it both sides couple of mins perfect egg sarnie .you can thank me later lol

Mate I walk around there 20 old years ago but never did fish it totally forgot about it until now might have to pay it a visit as it’s only ten minutes away from me,do u know if u can just turn up and look around ? Is that they lake that suddenly started producing big fish back in the 80s/90s with a taste for garlic? Wasatschool in Horsham in 70's and Meynards wasnt on the map then.
