Happy Saturday! I hope you had a great first week of 2023! Crazy to think January is already here, last year had flown by. We’re hanging out this weekend before our son goes back to school after his long winter break and we all have to get into the regular routine of life. Hope you all have a fun filled weekend ahead! ❄️

I love that you are into winter decor, so many are just showing Valentine’s Day and spring, even the stores this year, I started seeing spring before Christmas…. I loveeeee the winter and want to enjoy it

All looks lovely and cozy! However, I don’t understand why people leave tags on their pillows. I see it all the time and wonder why they’re always trying to hide them instead of just cutting them off. That’s the first thing I do when I bring them home and remove the price tag. Anyways, thx for sharing!

Honestly, I forget 😂 Also, too many times I've taken a tag off and decided not to keep it and can't return it then so I keep it on to make sure I like it then 3 years later my florals still have tags on them 😂

Beautiful!!! I'm heading to Target today to see if I can score some of those unmarked goodies. I'm struggling with finding a large enough vase for a corner in my living room. I'd LOVE a dark water pot vessel...but you can guess the reaction I got from Hubby to that price...nope! If I can find something with the shape & silhouette I want, I'll DIY one. I did a floor vase last year for my dining room with baking soda paint & its my favorite DIY ever 💗

They are the IKEA Farlov. They've been discontinued but you may be able to find them on FB Marketplace and can order new covers through Bemz Design!

Thank you, we're in North Carolina. Moved from New York in July 2020. I don't intentionally keep all the walls bare but part of it is this being our first home and not being a rental coming to the realization that I can do whatever I want frankly is overwhelming most of the time 😅 I also know I don't want to settle for something in the moment if I know there's a project or piece I want to save up for. Home takes time! I hope this explains my thinking process 😊

@@laughlovelangella CONGRATULATIONS on your first home!! That is always so exciting for a young couple and you decorate it so beautifully. You are wise to not try to rush with the wall decor and buy something you don't absolutely love just to get something on the walls. I know you're going to find pieces that will really compliment with your interior style, which I love. You've given me ideas that I've implemented in my own home and I look forward to your DIY projects as well. I'm in my second home (I'm a divorced mom & purchased it on my own) and it's interesting to look back and see how my interior styles have changed throughout the years. Lately I've updated my decor to the McGee & Co. classic modern rustic style, but I have to do it on a much more budget friendly level, so I mostly shop at Target, Homegoods, TJ Maxx, Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Once in a while I splurge on something more high end and that's fun. You have led me to buy some of the same merchandise you've discovered on your shopping trips, so I thank you for sharing links that make it easy to find them. I also very much like your easygoing, sweet personality and you remind me so much of my sister-in-law, whom I love dearly. You not only talk and sound like her, but also look a great deal like her. Keep up the great work on your social media and I wish you and your family good health and a happy new year.

Why have the items by the fireplace grouped like that? Wouldn't it better, rather than trees on one side and candles on the other, to place a candle behind the trees? That way one side would have two candles and the other side would have the trees with the remaining candle. That way, you could have better cohesion near your fireplace, making that area easier on the eyes.

All comes down to personal preference at the end of the day! I've never had a fireplace with a raised hearth so still figuring out what I'm doing with it 😊
