I have a fabulous Winter wreath for you. In today's crafting adventure I will share with you how to make this no fray deco mesh winter wreath. I created another no fray method to be used with Dollar Tree deco mesh that provides a beautiful thick, textured and no fray base! Yes you can also use this method with 10 inch mesh. Your going to love this one! Lets get to crafting!

I've commented on your beautiful work (and instruction abilities) in the past but today I went to a local craft show in my community, mainly to browse. Several people had booths with wreaths but I have to say, in all sincerity, I didn't see a single one that would compare to yours. I didn't check prices - maybe extremely inexpensive or exorbitantly expensive. But quality, beauty...not there. I follow a couple of other "wreath makers" and all 3 of you do beautiful work. (And PS: I've never made a wreath in my life. My only talent is watching y'all make wreaths! LOL And I'm very good at watching!!) Happy Holidays to everyone!

Love this! The bow is gorgeous, I use zip ties I get at the dollar store to secure the bow and I slip a pipe cleaner in the zip tie to secure it to the frame.

I love this one!! I also loved the gingerbread one! I finally got a wreath done!! I made it for my daughter’s coworker as a surprise. She said she wanted to have a “black girl Christmas”. That’s all I needed to hear! Lol I was at DT looking for black Santa. I went to a few DTs. I got 2 of the round particle board ornaments, a Santa face ornament and a standing Santa. Thats all they had left. (I saw more before at another store but I wasn’t going that way and they might all be gone by now anyway). I took the stand off the standing Santa and peeled the paper off his boots (because The bottom part of his boots were in the stand and had no paper.) and painted that area black. I decided to paint over the paper on the rest of him to make it look handmade. I painted over the ivy on his hat. It was stupid. Lol I painted the sides of the round ornaments red. Mod podged everything. I added my own design to his hat with pieces of a pick. I used 5 red mesh with gold in it and 6 of the green tulle with “snow”. I thought I had 6 red mesh but I didn’t. I would have used it plus another green tulle. I added some gold poinsettias. I can’t find my bowdabra (buried somewhere in the basement. We moved stuff when we got a new hvac system and my craft area got stuff piled up) so the bow I made I’m not happy with. I’m redoing the bow. It’s too small for this wreath. I’m using free ribbon samples I got from one of the warehouse stores. They had one display of ribbon left (samples were attached to the box) and the samples I got were from the one they got rid of because it was empty. The samples were laying on the floor behind the current display. They would have swept it up and thrown it out. I folded the pieces to make one big loop. I glued the ends together. I’m putting a pipe cleaner in the middle on each. I’m going to add a bunch of them and make them look like a bow. I’m also adding some gold ribbon and another multicolor one and those will have tails. I’m adding a big green bell in the center. She is going to LOVE this crazy gaudy Santa wreath!! My daughter is taking it to work on Tuesday. My living room has red glitter mesh particles all over the place I was sitting! I’m not vacuuming til I’m done the bow. Lol Now on a wreath kick! My grinch wreaths are next! I have all my supplies. One red one. One green one. I got tons of fall flowers at Hobby Lobby at 90% off. I’m making sure I grab ribbon and mesh at the craft stores as they go to 75-90% off…. For next year. I will be grabbing any mesh I see at goodwill…. No matter the color. I have Easter supplies ready also. I have been collecting for months! lol

Yes I use wood glue to glue them in! Add glue and pound in with a rubber mallet. Let sit over night and you are good to go.

Hi Michelle, this wreath is absolutely gorgeous. You did an amazing job on this.. I know you said 5 of each color of mesh at 15 inches with each cut. Then you showed 2 blue and 1 white. I will have to go back and watch again because in my head, I am thinking you would end up with some white pieces of mesh left over. Am I wrong. What did I miss? Michelle love the snowman flurries wreath I plan to use the r0sebud method on another wreath but I have a question I have a Christmas. Wreath that hangs on my inside door but between a storm door the door is medal and keeps melting the glue I used both glue gun and Aileens let set 3 days and it didn't hold any suggestions on what else I can do Thanks

There are several products that you can use. Clear spray paint, Scotch guard products. You are looking for something that dries clear that is non yellowing with UV protection and moisture resistant.
