1:33 Every morning, without fail, my breakfast is old fashioned oatmeal. I should fry an egg to go with it, I don't, so i am starving 2 hours later. Brown sugar , a bit of milk and 2 prunes in the oats. I AM nearly as thin as 50 years ago, I suppose that horses remain lean consuming oats, perhaps it works for people also?? Tea time for me is 10:00 at night, a TGFTOP organic Ceylon, I have often put in milk, the English way, but this is a new tea for me the past 3 months and I am stil getting acquainted with it's flavor. No brassy , astringentcy at all because it is first flush, no more than three leaves leaves at the tips of the branches. Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe is what the acronym signifies. 2:36 I have one rambling rose, a roadside rescue that the local government mowed off every summer for 30+ years. Because my entire life I go to the forest and gather long, thin recently dead maple saplings, 10+ feet tall for my pole beans in my garden { Oh! Which reminds me, you need one stand of scarlet runner beans in your yard/garden, they are a magnet for hummingbirds, wich improves the arden ambience greatly} because I gether them for pole beans, I also put together a tall tripod of them for my rambling rose, which I tie to the three tall poles and the rose literally buries then poles, they disappear and it looks as though the rose plant is very tall with no support. Sharing ideas. 2:52 Yes, I have an Albertine rose, a climbing rose which grows so massive that it can create a delightful effect of burying small buildings under it's gorgeousness and it DOES have WICKED , large thorns. LOL! Oh! Albertine! You make my arms and hands bleed! Good that you are so gorgeous , if not you would get hoicked.!😆😍😍 5:40 Yes, the roses that I do not prune are the older types like moss roses that bloom on the previous years growth. Nearly all newer roses are developed for instant gratification which means that they bloom on the new growth. 6:02 Ava sweetie came to help! 💜💜 10:22 look at that darling little face!!💜💜 Very nice, thank you! Oh I wouldn't have thought of putting cardboard underneath the manure. Question(s): Do you do the same with the roses in pots where you have planted bulbs around the rose ? Also, how do you care for your japanese maples ? I'm new to them and not sure what to do/not do. It is very interesting to see how you care for your plants after having dreamed for months while watching your marvelous garden !
