For halibut we would mostly use the salmon bellies caught the day prior. However on our last Halibut outing, we caught an Octopus. We were getting nipples all morning with the Salmon but nothing would actually take it fully. That is until they put some of that Octopus on the line, and that is when we actually got our Halibut on the last day! I just posted that Video yesterday, go check it out!!

I've really enjoyed your videos. Three of us are going to Oli's in a week to fish for 4 day also. Your videos were very informative. Would you be willing to comment on how much you tipped your guide Mike? DId you tip the staff also? If so how much did you do? We are trying to decide on how much cash we should bring on the trip. Thanks in advance. Brad
