This is the last day of our trip to the wineries in Rajac and the area of Negotin, where we had a fantastic last two days and where we found and rescued Simba. On our last day, we visited a winery ghost town and Negotin before heading to Belgrade, where we found a beautiful snow day. Nala went crazy on her first snow day.
This was our first trip traveling with pets Simba and Nala.
In the town of Negotin, we visited a few buildings and especially the house where Stevan Stojanović (one of the most famous Serbian composers) grew up. Stojanović earned the nickname "Mokranjac" after the village of Mokranje, where his ancestors were from.

Thank you all for watching our latest adventure going to a ghost town, Negotin, and Nala experiencing her first day of snow. A quick note for our non-Serbs viewers, Stevan Stojanović earned the nickname "Mokranjac" after the village of Mokranje, where his ancestors were from. That is why when you see the footage of the house you will see his last name being Mokranjac. Also, there was a football player by the name of Stevan Stojanovic. Don't forget to like this video, it will support our channel a lot. Have a wonderful week!

Yes they are, they get separation anxiety when they are apart, it is so crazy to see a cat being so clingy with a dog.

It is such a contrast... houses here in New Zealand are so expensive and then you have a ghost town in Serbia with awesome stone architecture. I wonder how much it is to buy a house like that over there. Sounds mega windy on your outing. Thanks for showing us cool places throughout Europe! First time seeing snow hahahah what an experience for Nala.
@TheMamuchos

Right? The same thing compared to the US. You can find houses with a big yard and vines starting at 1,000 euros. This area is right on the border with Bulgaria and Romania. The owner of the winery where we stayed, bought two houses like that the week before we arrived and he will start remodeling soon. He also wants to build a small aerodrome for even easier access from Belgrade, so a lot of potential in the area for sure. Thank you guys!

Ghost towns freak me out also. I have to make sure Rosalie doesn’t poop by the gas pedal. I’m guessing Maria had this great idea. Why does everything close 1-5? We love homes of famous people also. We just went to Elvis Birthplace. You need those ghost finding kits. You have quite the pack there! LOL, Nala loved that snow. Waiting for your pet raccoon.

They close from 1-5 in Spain to go home have lunch with the family and rest before heading back to work, in here, we don't know but I am guessing same reasons. Work life balance is very important, and being able to have lunch with the family, especially when there are kids, makes a huge difference. We saw some post on Ig and FB about your recent visit to Elvis house. Will watch the whole video soon. pet racoon hahahah

The "ghost town" next to Rajac was Rogljevo. You were in the wine town where the old wine cellars are. Nobody lives there, only the wine. It is separated from the town of Rogljevo where the people live so that it can mature in tranquility and is not disturbed by humans and their animals. In Rogljevo you have a French couple making top notch wine that is even exported to France, Francuska vinarija. Look up The promise on YT. I hope you made it to Kladovo, where a lot of my relatives live. Lovely to visit in summer. Your cat looks like a spitting image of our late cat Ramses, and he was a Norwegian forest cat. It's the only domestic cat that climbs down the tree head first (sometimes).

So we went to disturb! Ups! We were in the town next to it where pimnica Peric is, you can see it in the previous videos. We have to find that French couple for our next trip there later in the spring. We did not stop by Kladovo, but I am saving it for that next trip. We are not sure 100% about Simba, but the vet said he has Norwegian Forest or Maine Coon. We recently went to Backi Monostor and all he did all day long was climb trees I shared the photo on IG, but I will share it in the community post here on YT this upcoming week. Thank you for all the recommendations and clarifications

@@TheMamuchos as I said, he's the spitting image of our late cat, Maine Coons look a bit different. Rajac is where Perić is situated. Their cellars are at one end of the village, not separated. If you want to visit any winery, it's best to contact them beforehand. In Rajac you have vinarija Raj, owned by a British/Serbian couple. They met decades ago, spent some time together, he went in the Army for many years. After many years they got reunited, got married and rest is history. Around Negotin is monastery Bukovo that also make internationally awarded wines and rakija, Matalj whose Cabernet Sauvignon Kremen Kamen is considered as the best red wine of all of the Balkans. Another prominent producer is Aglaja. There are more that I don't know so well. Do some research, go to a vinoteka in Belgrade and ask them for advice. Look up Exotic Wine Travel's YT and blogs. The information about Serbia is a few years old but they have an excellent article about Negotin wines.

I remember how annoying all the pet passport procedures were before Poland joined the EU. You had to wait ages to test if your pet has the right amount of antibodies for rabies and if they failed the whole thing had to be repeated.
