I believe the bills you pay for electric/heating can be expensive in Spain but an electric blanket is good when really cold, put it on an hour before you get into bed then you can switch it off and place at bottom of bed to keep your feet toasty... my top tip for the day :P I do not need to use one usually but this is the way i would do it. You seem much happier today, crack on you are doing well for yourself. Sometimes it is good to just put everything down and concentrate on yourself. Do not worry about not being productive, do the things that are necessary - work, shopping, chores etc but spend the rest of your time doing what is good for you, it sounds selfish but it is not, it is self-worth. You can spend a lifetime pleasing others and forget about yourself, trust me, I could write a book on being let down by others. It is good to spend time on yourself, that way you are in a better situation when the time comes you wish to spend time on others again. Another great video, thanks for entertaining us....

I am in Spain at the moment near the Mar Menor. I find the day temperatures are pleasant and now it is getting cooler at night. Spanish homes don't seem to have insulation and are built for the heat of summer. It can feel colder inside than outside sometimes. I have portable heaters to keep the rooms warm at this time. Some people with houses have installed wood burners for the winter. Thanks for your video!

Electric blanket, plus plug timer saved my life in france. -20.. put it on ½ hour before bed and run for 1 hour. Cheap and brilliant. Cost about £30.

Most Spanish properties are built from concrete. This is slow to heat up and will store heat in the summer. However, it stays cold in the winter. Plus, on a different note, I've noticed that sounds echo more and it can feel noiser. With no insulation there is nothing to absorb sound so you can hear sounds from everywhere more easily. I went to Salamanca some years ago in January. It was around 12-15 during the day but down to -5-7 at night! Some parts of Spain are at quite high altitude and far inland. These two things mean the air temperature will be cold in the winter. On the other side, many cities like Madrid, Seville and Salamanca are really hot in the summer. It's a land of contrasts!
