@@SirCharlzTV Semi-tropical in Central Texas, but I did live in high deserts of West Texas and Colorado, the sand and scrub-brush kind of desert, for 30 years. My Mom was 1st generation Swede - her parents came through Ellis Island waaay back when.

Swedish signaling systems only allow for 200km/h. And our trains often don't reach that because of curvy tracks.
